Has anyone tried a Bull Dog GT gas - Does it make a difference with extra HP and gas mileage ?

Bully Dog website doesn't show a Tundra programmer.

I'm currently running a BD and on 93 performance tune, it's very noticeable. On 87 tow it's good but not the tune the 93 is. As for fuel mileage, the answer is no. Alot of great features with the BD, MPG increases is not 1 of them.

    Yep they've got it

Thanks. My mistake. I didn't see it when I searched for my 2018 Tundra.

No problem at all. Happy we could all help out with this. I know DAP has some awesome stuff for these trucks but this was what I was offered with mine when I wanted something. Another item that is pretty cool as well is the Pedal Commander, however Tow/Beast mode is just as good.

    Call up Keith @dirtydeeds
He can set you up, and he was also involved in the programming for the BD.

I have the tuner someone posted a picture of Bully dog GT gas 40417
I love it!! you gain around 26 HP and 45 torque. there's a dyno sheet on the interweb somewhere. It makes the truck feel peppier on the performance tune. I also shut off my seatbelt dinger, speed limiter, and some other useless stuff.

I also use it to monitor trans temp while towing.

Hello. I got a few threads on this. I was typing a bunch while just "thinking out-loud." I got a bit of an odd combo going, w/Thorley LT's, with cats, but a DD cat-back w/the stock tailpipe. The Performance tune is a very noticeable boost in performance. But due to that, I tend to be flooring it much more often for short lil' bursts because it is SO FUN.

But I don't think there is that big of a difference so far. My work-week MPG's suck, short drive to work, so truck is still warming up, so probably running a lil' rich, and also a couple McDonalds drive-throughs a week.

Soon I will do a like 200~something mile trip, one way w/BD on "Performance," BD removed for the return (pretty equal elevation the whole way).

Definitely call DD, he has a great price on the BDX.
