Can anyone tell me what the prefix "SP" stands for in my SR5 Package from the factory? In my Vehicle Specification Details there seems to be some wrong information in that under the factory installed equipment is says "PE Cloth-Trimmed" BUCKET seats and center console but I have a leather interior? Then, listed under the Standard Installation Equipment, Interior, it says "40/20/40 Split-&-Fold 8-Way Driver & 4-Way Passenger Adjustable BENCH Seat..." but again I have leather bucket seats up front.

Anyone know how the heated power outside mirrors work, is there an on/off switch or is this an automatic function that requires no driver's input?

Also, under standard installation equipment, exterior, it says "double-walled" beds and my truck has what appears to be a factory spray on bed liner, but no mention of a spray-on bed liner in the vehicle specification details print out from the factory?

    Thanks for your help

SP is just Toyota's code for an option package on your truck. Most likely an SR5 Upgrade Package. Not sure on earlier years, but on my '19 the SR5 Upgrade Package includes, among other things, bucket seats upgraded from the standard bench seat.

The part about the bench seat is most likely just stating standard equipment on the truck before optional upgrades.

The leather could be from a previous owner or dealer installing leather seat covers on it.

This is your heated mirrors button:

All the Tundras have a double walled bed, it's just how it was constructed. Has nothing to do with a bed liner. Spray on bed liners are easily done aftermarket.

Ok thanks on the mirrors, I saw that button but for whatever reason I thought that was for the front windshield defrost but obviously that's for the side mirrors. As for the leather interior, these don't appear to be leather covered bucket seats, these are front and rear leather seats and I don't have a column shift, I have the floor shift which is another upgrade but no mention of this in the V.S.D. that I can see.

Also, I don't have the regular skid plate under my truck, I have what appears to be an upgraded skid plate (that extends up under the front bumper) but again, no mention of this on the V.S.D. that I can see. I guess what I'm getting at is--IMHO and I could be wrong--I have a Tundra that has some upgrades but there's no mention of it in the V.S.D. and yes, the dealership could have installed the bed liner and skid plate but there's no mention of dealer installed upgrades? I'm guessing that yes, this is a SR5 Upgrade package but it's a little confusing as not all upgrades are listed?

Option code SP is for the SR5 Upgrade Package. Detailed content of the SR5 Upgrade Package varies from year to year, but typically includes bucket seats, center console and floor mounted shift lever. Those bucket seats have typically been cloth-trimmed. If the truck is a 2011 as your sig shows, a previous owner could have added the leather, aftermarket skid plate, spray-in bed liner etc.

Listing of standard installed equipment is boiler plate for what it would have been if the SP option had not be taken. The window sticker would also have had an Option Code FE, which simply means it's not really an option; it means that all Tundras have that "option", and that the truck meets "50 State Emissions".

Another example of what may or may not be part of the SR5 Upgrade package. Later model year SR5 Upgrade Packages do not have power outside windows, let alone defrost.

Again, "double-walled" is simply a boiler plate description of the vehicle. They all have double-wall beds.

Since you are in Arkansas, it's possible that your truck is a TSS (Truck Sport Series) Package. Toyota ships standard SR5 Upgrade Package trucks to the distributor, Gulf States Toyota, in Houston. There the truck receives mostly aesthetic upgrades that transforms it into the TSS Package. The upgrades vary by model year, but are primarily tire/wheel packages, tube steps, bed decals, etc. Maybe leather or power folding/defrost mirrors were an add-on in 2011. The spray-in bed liner (Code BT) could have been applied at Gulf States before the truck was shipped to the Arkansas dealer.

No TSS Package details (Code TS on the window sticker) or other "options" installed by the distributor will be on any list of Toyota vehicle specs. Without knowing the exact content of the SR5 Upgrade Package, and the content of the TSS Package, I expect that the only way to know if your truck is the TSS Package now is for you to have the original window sticker, or if it still has the TSS bed decals.
