    Gotcha. Thanks.

I was thinking you fat fingered F350. But that made no sense to me.

Having a 2-post lift in your garage is so awesome. I envy you.

The way I look at it, if you are on this forum, you must like to wrench and get up close and personal with our vehicles.

The cost of a set of custom wheels and tires is close to what a lift cost.

I don't plan on moving, so having a tool that will save my knees and back is money in the bank.

The only thing better would be if I lived in a year around warm area. The lift would be outside.

@nk1794 have a question, regarding cordless wratchet, looking for a Milwaukee of course, but drive wise, what's better 3/8" or 1/2"? Also brushless? What's up with that vs. regular?

I don’t have a cordless ratchet but I do have a cordless 3/8 drive impact. I find 3/8 to be the most convenient and most used size for me. As far as cordless tools go in my experience brushless is better, more efficient and long lasting than brushed.

Both, 3/8 is the most common but 1/2 for the occasional larger fasteners.

3/8 drive should get most of what you need. My sockets go from 10 to 18 for standard and 10 to 19 for deep well.

And brushless. Brushes wear out. I didn't know anyone made those kind of tools with brushes anymore.

Will the two I'm thinking are the Milwaukee FUEL which is brushless or the one below it or just go with pneumatic?

Agree, the 3/8" drive will work for 90 percent of the fasteners on our trucks.

The 1/2" drive is really only good for wheel lug nut removal and some brake and suspension fasteners.

In addition, I have a 1/4" hex drive cordless driver that I use for just about everything anymore. It's so amazing I have no need to buy a 3/8 driver.

It's a shame that I own a pretty large collection of air wrenches that I hardly use anymore.

For ratchet I think you need 1/4" and 3/8". If you need 1/2" you should get an impact gun. Definitely go for the brushless version. They provide more power and usually more compact and also last longer between charge. If I were to buy new I would go for brushless.

Well I plan on doing valve cover gaskets, timing belt and water pump on my T100, was thinking 3/8 cordless or pneumatic

Usually when you get the fasteners that require 1/2 drive, like the ones you mentioned, a cordless ratchet lacks the ass required. Got to go manual or pneumatic.

Cheers to the cordless driver! I use mine more than any single tool I have. I have a pneumatic 3/8 ratchet that I can't remember the last time I used.

Not knowing what a T100 engine looks like, you might be better off with a good set of hand tools. Pneumatic is smaller but you're tethered to an air hose. Battery tend to be bulky.

My brother and I own a tire and service shop. We have cordless and pneumatic impact wrenches, including this one. This is the one which gets used. Handles everything that rolls in the door, including heavy equipment. If you use it to put tires ON, I recommend a set of torque sticks - it’s pretty easy to over-torque lug nuts with this thing if you aren’t careful.
