The TRD exhaust is listed as an option for the 2020 TRD Pro Sequoia. Does anybody know/hear if they will sell the TRD exhaust separately for other Sequoias??

A little of this and a little of that.

Why not just get one from Keith through @dirtydeeds ? That’s what I’d do anyway.

I would assume they’d have to be able to. Sell them for other sequoia’s as well

I don’t see how they would fit a dual exhaust on a sequoia.

But for a truck without long tube headers you will see the absolute best low end torque with a single exhaust. And Hp is not sacrificed.

The vvti and how everything is tuned wants a single exhaust.

Now with long tube headers that’s a different story. Both duals and singles make tons of power because of the headers. But duals makes more;)

Well they changed it to fit the sequoia as a single not a double ....because it’s an option on the 2020 sequoia TRD pro

I just bought the 2020 trd pro sequoia and unfortunately did not come with the trd exhaust. Is there any update on this? I talked to the dealer and they said nothing is in there system as of yet and I would have to wait since it is still fair new.

A 2020 is exactly the same exhaust as a 19

I was not aware that the 2019 had the trd pro cat back exhaust system for the Sequoia? I tried researching but to no avail.
Would you happen to have the part number so I can inquire from my dealer.

@pryan208 I just got the Sequoia TRD Pro as well and was told back in September that it was available. I was going to have it installed before it was shipped but then the dealership told me Toyota told them they couldn’t sell it at that moment and that was in October. Not sure why but I know of someone on the FB Sequoia page that just recently (November) had it installed on his sequoia TRD pro. So it’s out there. I’m looking to get it on mine as well just need to call the dealership I guess.

I was finally able to get the exhaust from my dealer and had a shop do the install. Dealer wanted 200 for the install but I needed other work done so I went to my shop. Here's a link if you want to see the exhaust and the other work that I did to my trd pro: https://youtu.be/LkMmGR3ajVs

That looks awesome! How does it sound? I want to do it but was worried it might be too loud? Is there anyway to see a video of yours so I can hear it? Can I ask how much it was for the TRD Pro exhaust? When I asked they said roughly $1200. And I see where it had a black tip. Mine has that stock so I wanted to be sure that it was an option as I liked the black chrome tip

It's definitely not too loud. I have. 2003 Sequoia with magnaflow exhaust and I liked that better cuz it was loud... This one is more tame. There is noticable drone but not annoying. I got it for $800ish. I don't have a video but here's a YouTube review of the Sequoia and at the end they do an audio of the exhaust:

@pryan208 do you by chance have the part number for the cat back exhaust? My friend used to work for Toyota and I’m trying to see if I can get it through him. But I can’t find it online

Thank you. I’m having the hardest time finding it/getting it. Toyota dealerships can’t find it in their system

Just spoke with Parts at Toyota, they have 372 in stock at Toyota parts in Kentucky. Mine is (allegedly) on it's way to local Toyota dealership. When they receive I can go eyeball and make sure.

    All-
Pictures attached, including the part number as mentioned above. I wanted to drive a couple weeks before review- Pros are increased power, more growl than soccer mom exhaust that came on it. It is not overly aggressive in the growl and gurgle department. Cons are the cat back is noticeable at approx 2000 rpm in the 4000-5000 hz range inside the vehicle. I want the truck to sound like it looks from outside the vehicle, and when getting after it, but not hear it while cruising at highway speeds as much as it does. From what my Toyota dealership said, there are hundreds of these parts at their parts warehouse in Kentucky.

I tried local and surrounding area dealerships and no luck. I even called a Toyota parts warehouse in Kentucky and they could not answer any questions but put me in touch with their local dealership who told me they saw the part listed but it wasn’t available.
Are you able to share your dealership and the warehouse info?

I called Toyota of Frisco (Texas) and talked a guy (don't recall the name) in the parts department. He found the part number, which matched the info in previous thread, so I ordered it. He brought it in and allowed me to stop by and open the box to check it before paying. All matched, installed the next morning. I recall him saying there are three hundred and something in Kentucky, I believe.
I do find it strange the TRD Pro features list TRD exhaust, but the vehicle isn't made with the TRD exhaust nor on the window sticker. Meaning there must be a supply issue. All that aside, it seemed very easy once I got on the phone with this guy.
Now time to lift the Sequoia and get ready for Pearl Pass in CO next year.

Give Keith (Dirty Deeds) with BAmuffler a call. He makes a trd style exhaust for the Sequoia but can fine tune the sound to how you want. Thousands of us run his exhaust on our tundras.

@tgulbis if you get some time would you mind pissing some video from inside and outside of the exhaust. I want to see if it's worth it for my wife's. Thanks in advance.

Picking up a slightly used factory pro exhaust this week for my new pro. Will report back on sound. Had the factory pro exhaust on my tundra and absolutely loved everything about it.
