    Hey all,

Do any of you have experience removing LINE-X overspray? Chemical options? I tried gently flaking it off- it’s an area on my box side that’s been ‘misted’- but it’s not as easy as I’d hoped. Not sure if it’s fully cured already? 2-3 days old, on an unprepped surface.

    Soooooo irritating...

I had some over spray on my truck as well in some un-prepped areas. I waited a week or two before removing it and it came off pretty easily with some detail spray and a plastic razor blade. Take your time though and don't be too aggressive. When I picked up the truck I noticed a tiny bit of over spray near the tailgate that the installed tried to rub off and he chipped the paint :(

take it back to the shop and have them deal with it. Line X shops are usually pretty good at fixing mistakes.

Thank you! I’ll find some detail spray and give that a try.

Long story, but this is the 3rd time I’ve had the truck back to them and I won’t be taking it back. Ever. The overspray is just one of their screw ups.

Same here. They screwed up the first application on mine and left blobs all over. They had to cut those out and respray the bed. After that I found the over spray spots and they left some clear/white-ish residues on the side of the bed. I don't understand why it's so hard to do even a decent job when this is all you do.

Couldn’t agree more. Hard to believe they get away with it, what with the price of trucks these days.
