    That's Cassie, @AtlasTheTundra

@Riley_Nutt there are plenty of trails near Ft. Collins. Go to Trailsoffroad.com and make a free account for downloadable trail maps. There are dozens right around there.

Hello from a Fort Collins dweller!

There are quite a few around here, mainly in Laporte! Personal favorite is Old Flowers but there's also deadman Rd. (more of a dirt road but it connect to Bald mountain which as long as you stay on the back half of the trail is a lot of fun and stock Tundra friendly). When I'm at home and have access to my computer I can throw up a few links and some more recommendations.

Not to speak for the lady, but she's mentioned older yotas, 4runners, XJs, any decent offroad capable rig that catches her eye.

Switzerland Trail west of Boulder is quite easy. Not too far south of Ft Collins. Nice views. Old narrow gauge rail road route with lots of switch backs.

Apologies for a late response, here's a few links to some local trails

https://www.trailsoffroad.com/trails/403-old-flowers-road (More off road than some of the others but nothing that should give you any trouble if you're stock)
    https://www.trailsoffroad.com/trails/2458-swamp-creek-road
https://www.trailsoffroad.com/trails/1961-deadman-road (this one hooks up to bald mountain, more of a way to get somewhere as the entire thing is just a normal dirt road, I wouldn't consider it off roading)
https://www.trailsoffroad.com/trails/207-bald-mountain (this is the one you should try to only stay on the back portion of if you're running stock, I've managed the full trail in a stock tacoma but it wasn't easy)
    https://www.trailsoffroad.com/trails/1985-sand-creek-pass
    https://www.trailsoffroad.com/trails/2044-pearl-beaver-road (Also connects to deadman)
https://www.trailsoffroad.com/trails/2980-salt-cabin-park-road (Also a bit more off roady, there are a few branches off of the trail where you have options but again, nothing that should cause damage if you're paying attention)

Watch some of the videos and see if you can find the difficulty you're wanting, some of these trails are more dirt roads and others are a bit more legit off road trails.

Have you run seven mile in your tundra? I've heard mixed reviews some saying that after all the rain and snow the past year that it's a lot harder now and some saying its easy enough to take a full size. Because I can't get a consensus I haven't run it.

Hopefully an older 4Runner. Possibly and XJ, Nissan pathfinder or something of the sort. Keeping all my options open though!

Its been years since I’ve run it but when I did, it was in a stock 2000 Jeep Wrangler and it did just fine. Couple of hairy spots but overall a good time. There is some decent trails in Cheyenne, WY off Happy Jack road as well. We go up there yearly.

Anyone have these? I think I've had them for about 20-25 years.

You are telling me.. we are falling apart at the seams. I used to love this state.

Here is a good list of 4x4 trails near NoCo. Kind of sparked some interest for me to get back into. I have run all of these either on a dirt bike, ATV or vehicle and don't recall anything too scary. There is also Dead Man's Road up in Red feathers that is a pretty drive.

I’m a little late to the party. But here is my 2¢. Also, important to keep in mind, with all of the fires...most of these have had some burn damage of some kind...hopefully we can start to get better intel here soon.

As @AtlasTheTundra mentioned, Old Flowers is a great one near foco. It’s pretty heavily trafficked as it’s definitely very easy, I’ve seen Subarus up there a couple times. But it is certainly enjoyable and if you are looking for an uneventful afternoon trail, I’d highly recommend it. Personally, I would recommend doing it in the rain as that makes it a little more “spicy”. Lol.

As @SouthPaw said, Seven Mile is great. As it’s filled with river rocks, I prefer it in the winter as that helps to smooth it out... As far as challenge goes, I was able to drive it fine with a couple of good spotters in the snow and ice in my stock 1st gen. Pre-fire it was a little tight with bushes, a 2nd-3rd gen would fit, but may experience some bush rash. That said, with the cameron peak fire going through there, it may not be an issue anymore...

It’s been awhile since I did this one, but I enjoyed it enough that I’ll share. Pole Hill is a fun trail. It’s nice and wide so trail rash shouldn’t be an issue.

And at the most challenging edge of “easy” trails near foco, I would say is Storm Mountains. For the most part, it’s not too challenging with good line choice. There is one major feature on it that does thin the heard. Ended up having to abandon my stock 1st gen and ride with my buddy to the top one time. But in my leveled 3rd gen on 34’s, it wasn’t too bad minus one fuel tank drag...(ouchhhhhh. It hurt...)

That was a lot of info but also not enough...so if you need anymore info...be sure to ask
