Got the 4HI blink with no engagement of the ADD actuator, and want to pull the actuator out and have a look. Has anybody pulled this actuator, and if so, was there any issue with the lack of clearance? There's only about an inch or so of space to pull the assembly out, but I'm guessing if you pull out and rotate down, the actuator fork should make it out.

Would like some firsthand knowledge before I tear into this thing. Thanks!

I have had mine out recently on a 2008 Toyota Tundra.

Is this a 2cnd Gen Tundra or what is the make first off?

    Thanks,
    JTO

Any tips for removing the front actuator? Seems that the top screw is blocked by the frame crossmember?

Edit: For anybody reading, I ended up needing to replace my steering rack so I went ahead and inspected my front actuator when I had the diff removed.
