Alright guys this is my first post in here. Long story short, I got some HornBlasters and I put them under my hood where my air intake box was originally installed. I decided to cut the original tube right before the maf sensor so basically I cut it on the mouth of the box. Now I glue around making sure there’s no air leaks, I had put a filter on it as well but my truck didn’t want to stay on, I take the glue back off and moved the sensor a lil bit up, the truck turns on but idle at 500rmp sometimes it goes up to 900.

My air intake tube is shorter then the original one due to cutting for a better fitment of the filter.

My question is, does the distance between the TB and the MAF matters? ( the MAF is still right on the mouth by the filter so it’s reading as soon as air is sucked in)

Do I have to moved the MAF position ? ( instead of being on the back of intake move it to the top for a better reading of air flow ?)

    Thanks in advance ;)

No problem. Sounds like you already know where the issue is.
