Parts of the state got upwards of 40 inches in the northwest. I'm southwest and we got ripped off. Balmy!20191002_123638.jpg

Welcome. I have a SnowSport. Not a big plow by any means, but it is better than nothing. No hydraulics, just a front hitch. I know some manufacturers make a "homeowner" size plow nowadays (Fisher, Boss) for regular trucks.

    Welcome from Western Massachusetts.

Sorry, I don't plow with my Tundra. I use this:

because i was cheap. I decided to put my uni-Mount onto my Tundra. It’s a 8’ plow. Had to buy a new truckside plow mount and then ‘rig’ up my wires to control the plow from the cab.

I have a Boss 7'8 standard duty plow on my 2008 5.7 DC 4x4 and it works great. I put about 600lbs of ballast behind the rear wheels and run 10ply tires.

P.S - I'd also recommend a set of adjustable shocks (I put on the Bilstein 5100's on the middle height adjustment settings.

I ended up with the Boss 8' 2" V plow for my 2019 CM. Although I haven't plowed a single snowflake with it yet, I can say that I have no doubt the truck will be able to handle that plow. I do have a 3/1 level set-up on the front, with 285/70 Load Range E tires, and the plow barely squats the front end, even with zero ballast weight in the rear (although once I start plowing I''ll be adding some). My dealer talked me out of the smaller V because he's done multiple Tundra's over the last couple of years with the larger V and hasn't had a single one back yet. I don't do any commercial work anymore, so this is strictly for a handful of residential driveways. Hope this helps.
