That would be the ultimate prairie dog hunting rig. I've got some friends who go nutso when it comes to hunting prairie dogs. I'll have to show them this. heh heh...

Yeah that things is badass. Be even more legit if the seat / cooler setup was on top of an actual dog box instead of w.e it is sitting on. Think the only time I would be hunting from the top of a white truck is if we were running dogs.

That would be cool if it was a Flying Bridge, like a sport fishing boat.

I believe its illegal from inside the vehicle only (holding the gun out the window). So the setup in the bed should be legal.

Here in FL a lot of people still run dogs and most stand up in the back of the truck on the dog box. We had a boat seat mounted to ours.

Nice! When I dont feel like climbing in the stand I use this:

    IMG_1009.jpg

Mounted a rifle holder to the floor that holds 2 rifles vertically. Thing is quiet as can be too since its electric. My dad decided to put a lift and bigger tires on it a couple years ago.

I'm fairly certain it is illegal to hunt from the seat of your pickup. We only get hassled by the DOW if we're shooting prairie dogs while in a pickup either on county roads or within 50 ft of the road. If we're off in a pasture (most of which is privately owned out here), they don't stick around long enough to give us any grief.
