In my time of not being able to save money for tires, I've been heavily debating between 35x12.5x17 BFG KO2s and 35x12.5x17 Grabber ATXs. the grabber is a true 35 and $280/tire where the BFG is 34.5 and $311/tire. I definitely don't have money for a lift so I'm wondering how much of a difference that .5in makes and if it will fit properly. I know the BFG will fit but the grabbers are more in my budget and have amazing reviews. My front bumper has self trimmed all the plastic out of it due to me wheeling and having fun so I'm really just concerned about whether or not I'll have to do the BMC and hitting the UCA. So do those of you on stock suspension with 35's think that extra half inch of height will cause an issue?

It will be damn close to the body mount, depending on your caster. I had 3* caster with my 35" BFGs, and only 1/4" to it. The extra height of the ATX will make it even closer.

I kinda figured. would a spacer lift be a good stop gap until I can afford new coil overs or would that just push my UCA into the tire more

Hmm, I'm not sure about that. I never had a spacer lift on my truck.

Well after looking into the BMC more and knowing I have a friend who welds I think I'm just gonna send it on the Grabbers when I have the money and do the BMC beforehand cause $25 bucks for the plates is just a good deal. Ill have the stuffed look I'm going for and then i won't let myself offroad until I can afford a lift to get my clearance back

My 12 just turned 56k. Just had to replace the rubber surround for the radio antenna because it had dry rotted. Can't get anything to last these days... :)

I got really lucky, the previous owner was in the army and just shipped it to wherever he was stationed and didn't drive it much

I'll snag some good pics later...request for the group here:

Could anyone snap a pic or confirm whether or not they have factory Toyota spacers on their front suspension setups? Feedback I got on the forum previously was it's an aftermarket kit...but the shop is telling me it's stamped Toyota and the guy there that owns a Tundra says he has the same spacer on his truck...so it's throwing me for a loop here.

I've never heard anything about a Toyota spacer on the RWs. It would be news to me if it's a thing.

Kind of what I'm coming up with. I trust these guys, so I don't think they're trying to lead me astray at all. I'll still pull it off when I replace the front suspension as it is.

2012 rw It's not done yet but the wife won't let me spend any more money right now. Its got a set of Firestone air bags on it. I still need to do the exhaust and get a dual battery setup, I was thinking the genesis kit would work perfect.

Thinking of picking up a RW, whats a good price for a 2009 DC RW truck is white and has 115k, one owner, good service records, always garage and no accidents. Really doesn't have any door dings or scratches that I could find. Seller is pretty firm at $17.5k.

What did you use for the emblems? I'd like to swap mine but there's way too many options out there online.

Sounds like a good deal, but obviously depends on which part of the country you're in. Check for frame rust, rust on underside of bed in the corners where it mounts to the frame, cam tower leak both sides, and ask about the AIP. If you don't know what any of that is, use the search function on the forum. These topics are well covered. If the truck is clean as it appears to be, you could probably expect to pay closer to $20k for it in my area.

It’s an “OK” price. I paid $20,100 for my 2011 Rock Warrior last fall. It had 77k miles, one owner, a real garage queen. Fluid filmed underneath every year, oil change every 5k, 4 new(er) K02s and new front brake rotors and new pads all the way around. At the time I felt I was paying a little too much for it. The dealer was asking $21,900 so I got them down a little...but the trouble is there are very few Rock Warriors out there for sale, at least here in Ohio. Loving this truck though. PlastiDip..taped off the 5.7 badges, the Toyota emblem on the grill is super easy to remove and then spray, just lift the hood push the release tabs.
