Wondering if anyone is using an EPW to detail their trucks, trying to decide on getting one.

Go on ...get it. Lol, seriously though I have one and it does a great job. Mine is 1750 psi. I have a Husky from home cheapo, but it's about 10 yrs old. Should have a better selection now with multiple tips. Good luck

I just rinse with mine, I use the Rain-X wash and wax. I'm not one of those serious detail guy's . I don't clay bar, I hand wash some and soft brush, then rinse with pw.

@WarEagleSteve what type of air dryer do you use? I have never air dried my truck, but I have a Husqvarna backpack leaf blower that rips, haha. My truck is black so the foam cannon/air dry is prob a good idea.

Pretty interesting, thanks for the info. I'm pretty sure my neighbors already think I'm nuts with my truck, wait until they see me out there drizzling water and air drying it haha.

I need a second vehicle and a lot more spare time! I've been slacking with keeping my paint OCD. Maybe when I retire....

I have one, 2000 psi and it's perfect for car washing . ..bought it to mainly clear the under deck of my garden tractor .

One thing to note: EPW draws close to 15 amp on startup so make sure your plug is at least 20 amp and no other equipments using it at that same time otherwise it will pop your circuit every time .

Some people just don't care @driverdog , for the average Joe a vehicle is a big investment, no idea why they just let it go.

Sorry if this this has been asked, didn't feel like reading everything lol.

If there any advantage/disadvantage to a gas powered one? Growing up washing ATVs and stuff I had a gas one and other electric ones I've used seem to have a lot less pressure. I know models and price ranges change that but to use in the car would one be more favorable than the other. Electric or gas that is ?

I'm sure Ryan is grateful for your outstanding knowledge on pressure washing and foam cleaning your truck. I've always hand washed mine, but I'm digging that foam cannon.

Ok I finally picked up my EPW 2 weeks ago ive used it 3 times and thought I'd share my experience with it. I bought a Sunjoe Spx3001 Screenshot_2016-12-13-12-43-02.jpg
the first time I used it was as it came, and like most of the reviews pointed out the factory hose connector
    20161213_120640.jpg
This thing^^ leeks horribly, throw it as far down the street as possible.
    Screenshot_20161213-120606.jpg
So I picked up 2 of these from HD, one for your house water outlet and one for the washer.

    Screenshot_20161213-120748.jpg
Also had to get one of these female ends for the opposite side of the hose, had to cut off the male end and install this one. so it works with the quick connects.
Combined with the MTM foam cannon
    20161213_120913.jpg
The machine works flawlessly, washed my wifes van today
    20161213_102156.jpg
    20161213_102203.jpg

Works just as good on my truck, sorry no pics of that. hope this helps.

Ya, would you believe that the shipping company "lost" 2 of these before I gave up and ordered from another company.
It is a cool washer I find myself looking for other stuff to wash with it lol

We have Karcher & Ryobi... They are identical. Roughly 1750psi, thats more than enough to get the toughest jobs done.

Yeah i use the 40 degree but some times there is a lot of mud and the 40 degree i am spraying for hours. Didn't want to make things worse using the other tips.
