Been a member of the Corvette forum for the last 13 years. Time to make a change. My purchase should be coming in the next week or 2.
Finding the perfect truck for me is not available from Toyota even from factory order. Seems I can come close but will have settle for an item or 2 I can't get. So here is where I am at.
    2020 Tundra limited crew max
Limited premium package which has the TRD off road package.
I can get the heated leather seats wanted ventilated but they are only available in the Platinum/1794 series.
Getting the TRD dual exhaust ..found out can be done at the dealer
Most wanted option is power folding mirrors again I believe they are only available in the Platinum / 1794 series.
Just know I am going to have to fold the mirrors to get this beast in my garage. But overall looking forward to new truck.
I am sure I will have more questions coming after delivery.

    @Don T1
You're not missing anything with the ventilated seats, trust me. Heated seats are nice. I agree the folding mirrors are cool.
Check this out. I haven't done the research but I'm sure a 2020 option is or will be available. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ovR9W9cR4aM

Welcome from the Texas Hill Country.

Did you just change forums, or did you change vehicles too?

I'm also from a Corvette background. Last one was a 2006 M6 Z51 Monterey Red/Black/Black convertible. It was a beautiful cherry Vette with 7000 miles when I sold it to buy the Tundra. Too precious, and too low, for an old guy like me.

Hey John seems are situations are very similar. My first Corvette was an 07 Monterey red A6 kept it 9 years and traded it for a factory ordered 2016 2lt coupe m7. absolutely love both cars but the recent Vette, as I too am not getting any younger just does not fit my lifestyle any longer. Going on 4 yrs ownership and 6500mi on the clock. Getting close to retiring my daily driver work truck is a 08 Ford f350 diesel. Being in construction my whole life I have always had a pickup truck. The reliability of Toyota and the positive reviews I hear from owners and owning Lexus vehicles since 1998 has brought me to the Tundra.
Currently I have been to the dealer test drove the Tundra and in the process this week of selling the Corvette. So yes changing vehicles and forums.

Unless Toyota has changed a lot, you will not be disappointed.

GM lost me after selling me a 1980 POS Oldsmobile Cutlass wagon, and refused to fix it. I bought a used 1986 Toyota 4Runner after I got rid of that tarbaby, and drove the Runner for 30 years doing basic service, and only replacing wear and consumable parts. GM got me back briefly (2008 Malibu) when Bob Lutz took it over to pick up the pieces, but now they are back to their old ****. See the news?...GM and the union still think it's the sixties. They're toast...a dead company creeping.

    But, I still have a Vette. It's a classic, and unfortunately, it's in boxes...1970.

I had a similar issue, I ended up making my own TRD platinum. 1D90DA88-B917-4A80-AC23-B69D7AD78D9C.jpg
