I have this issue too and have not found a solution to it yet.

You might be able to go in with techstream and turn it back on.

Thank you so much for this post. I was about to switch out my amp to see if it was defective. I can't imagine how much time, money, and frustration you saved me.

Those apps you mentioned, are they on your phone or through the Android OS? Does the standard FM radio work ?

I can't remember, so I'll just ask, do you have the JBL audio? Sounds like an amp fuse, as all sound is digitally processed through it.

Finally able to spend a minute and check in:
#1 should be fixed by the latest firmware update. I'm going to install that now and confirm.
#2 has anyone fixed this issue, or had this issue at all? 2010 Crewmax. It's becoming quite annoying.

    Thanks!

I'm still having an issue with the factory controls and back up camera... I've reached out to Dasaita multiple times, sent pictures of the back of my stereo and the harness... Its like ground hogs day, everytime I get a response they ask for the same thing I've already sent. I was very apprehensive about buying an off brand and now my fears have been validated.

Which Dasaita unit do you have? The 12.2 tablet one or the newer one that has a case around it?

I have the same problem where audio level at "1" is still a bit too high for my liking. Where did you get your firmware from?

After 16hrs drive(tx to fl) my 1 month old Dasaita rotatable headunit gave up on me.been using the HU for Navigation(phone connected)the 1st issue i had before is reverse camera but it’s been fix.this time is the audio, totally no audio.no matter what apps .everything is working except the audio. either it’s connected to the phone or not.email Dasaita(3 or 4 days exchanging email) but their response is,pls do this and that but nothing happens.i think I will just go ahead and do an exchange/replace through Amazon before it expires.i can’t wait for them to offer me to do an echange or repair.

Hey guys, I have a 2019 Toyota Tundra sr5 crew max. I’m kinda upset with this old entune radio. So I want to install a Dasita 10.2 inch with Apple CarPlay. The question is what I need to buy for install in my tundra... cables, metro, etc! Does Dasita 9.0 PIE comes with Apple CarPlay? Thanks

Everything you need is in post #1 of this thread except the unit has been upgraded to 9.0 and has carplay/android auto built in so you won't buy the link #1 or #3. Someone who has purchased the newer unit with builtin carplay/aa can comment on the exact one to buy.

i bought this one, really happy with it.

    https://www.amazon.com/Dasaita-Rota...qid=1570895766&sprefix=dasaita,aps,214&sr=8-2

tell them what truck you have and they will include plug and play harness.

you will need a dash kit. I think i bought this one.

    https://www.amazon.com/Scosche-TA21...ash+kit&qid=1570895883&sr=8-2#customerReviews

and an adapter to keep factory usb if dasaita doesnt include it, some here have got it with the head unit, i did not. think it called ax-toyusb.
theres an adapter you can get to retain factory gps antenna, im just using the gps antenna that came with the unit, works fine.

Just installed the 2nd gen model today with the built in CarPlay. Love it so far. Question for anyone that has installed it. Did you somehow use the factory side mounts on the radio to bolt the new Dadaist unit in? It didn’t come with screws (factory are too big) and only one hole lines up. Right now it’s just clipped in but seems like it could be more secure if it was bolted in.

Firmware is kept updated here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/an...asaita-mcu-updates-rockchip-px5-octa-t3575155

Make sure you choose the right one, mine is the MAX6 Version under the 9.0 update.

Just looked through my emails, looks like it’s a “product customization request”.
Can’t remember exactly how I did it.
Make sure to include your order number

Anyone running an aftermarket sub with the stock speakers and amp running the rest of the speakers? I've done this on many cars in the past. Add a decent sub the use the HU crossover to filter bass frequencies to the other speakers. Usually get a lot better performance out of the rest of them when they are no longer pushing bass frequencies. Just wondering how to set this up in the Dasaita.

The dasaita makes this super easy. There is a dedicated sub output and sub volume in the eq interface.

The sub out doesn't have a crossover frequency that I see but the sub amp should have something like a low pass filter. In the DSP settings on the radio there is a high pass filter and gain. So between the two you should be good.

For an aftermarket amp, are you guys hooking the remote wire off the amp to the ‘amp’ wire on the back of the Dasaita? Saw there is also a Key1 and Key2 wire.

My amp was cutting on and off as it should the first two days. Today it won’t turn on at all. Checked the amp fuse and it’s good.

I just installed my 5 channel amp today. Used the amp wire from pin 13 on the dasaita harness. It's a blue wire that splits off into 2 more wires. I just cut it at the base of the harness and connected it there. So far zero problems.
