    I tried a zip tie a few times but that wouldn't last 10 minutes. Ended up using a hose clamp and it works great.

    Zip ties are provided but the trick is to install them at full extension. I recommend removing the shock or jacking up the rear of the truck to install the boot @ max extension. Most of the time boots are installed incorrectly and zip tied @ ride height and the boot is pulled off when it droops out.

    ... are you actually claiming that because of shocks it made the truck fast, and secondly, the "fastest overall" was 1/2 second faster than me and had a supercharger.... that is entirely misleading to comment this way.

    Upgrade complete- guys at the shop put 200 miles on the truck all taking turns driving it, said it was the best riding truck they have ever been in. Can’t wait to go romp on it in the mountains! Thanks @Icon_Adrian

    I tried getting boots from SDHQ for my RXT rear shocks and they do not carry them, they only have generic boots I was told

    @Icon_Adrian i thought I read somewhere that one could add remote resi or CDCV to the shock bodies at the time the shocks are rebuilt. Is that true? For example, is it possible to buy 2.5 IR’s now and add a piggyback, remote resi, or CDCV to them later?

    It’s gonna be cheaper in the long run to just save up and do it all the way from day 1.

    Probably, but (1) I’m impatient, and (2) the wife needs to buy into the idea, and isn’t thrilled with the sticker price of something like the stage 5 kit.

    I bought separately, what ended up being the Stage 10 kit. Waited patiently for sales and free shipping and actually ended up saving a couple hundred $$. Zero % on different cards and paid each part off before getting the next. Only thing I missed out on is the delta joint which was developed while my control arms sat in a box in the closet. Can add that later though so no biggie. Got a closet full of other off road parts waiting to get installed. It’s an evil addiction!

    When I was searching for what I “wanted” and what my wife says we could afford it was disappointed. Then I figured I have done the progression approach in the past where I put on a lift, improve later usually when something breaks or goes wrong so I went with the Mack Daddy Icon set-up (stages are different on SDHQ’s web site than Icon’s) and I have no regrets. I did hold off on the S2’s for the front but just recently added that.

    Be brave soldier!!!

    @Icon_Adrian

    I am about to install a Stage 9 on my 2019 Tundra and have a question.
    Currently running toytec shackles. Is the icon leaf pack intended to pair with the stock tundra shackles or will pairing with my toytec shackles at the 1" position be ok?

    Did you ever get a response on
    What shackles did you use? I was told stock shackles but am wondering if others would work. I "believe" I recall someone on here using CB +2 which are much beefier.

    I still have my toytec shackles but did purchase a pair of oem as well. Icon said that's what the leaf pack was engineered around so that's what I am going to start with. Will tinker from there if necessary.

    Alight, we're fully on but struggling to get proper amount of caster. UCAs were "maxed out" per the Tech.

    These were the numbers we left it at. Definitely pulls a little but nothing crazy

    what do y'all suggest?
