Tacoma engine, #2 and#4 cut out @ 3200 rpm

    i have a 2007 Tacoma 4.0 that my mechanic just put a Jasper built engine in.
    Runs great up to 3200 rpm, at that point #2 and #4 cut out and does not come back until engine is shut down and re started. Suggestions please!
