Holy crap that's is one lucky dude. He'd be dead if he didn't land in that water, and just happened to be that one deep pool of the river. Lucky he didn't get knocked out and drown too. Totally insane video

I ride dirt bikes and see a lot of vids of people doing these kinds of trails. No way would you get me on that kind of trail. I ride to have fun. That would not be fun.... at least for me.

He was pretty inexperienced. The trail he was on it pretty wide, he was probably sitting down and lost momentum on the rocky off camber. The suspension pogo'd him to the left and he panicked; going off the cliff.

+1 - didn't look like he was skilled enough to be riding that type of terrain...he wasn't lacking in the luck department tho  plus or minus 10 yards on the exit point and that wouldn't have ended so well.

I'm currently on a 2017 TE250. Grew up riding anything and everything. Rode 2T for years, went to 4T in 2002 and was on them until April of this year. Back on 2T again and LOVE it!!!
