I have tiny sensors in the toe kick of my kitchen cabinets. When I walk in there in the dark leds come on under the cabinets. It's a soft light but just enough to grab a glass of water or whatever. There are also hinge switches. Just like the pin switches of a car door that work well for closets and cabinets. Those don't work at my house though 'cause nobody shuts doors around here, grrr.

My dad just picked up the same motion setup for his kitchen, he loves it. He had his whole kitchen redone and was able to run new wires, switches, etc. I have to say I really like the motion setup for certain applications.

800 lumens. Hard to capture that in a picture, but it seems brighter than the incandescent bulb it replaced.

Still not done, disregard the paint on the door handle, and disregard how the light is flush with the box but not ceiling. We bought this house, didn't build it, little things like that box mounted like that bug me. Too little time to fix it at the moment but I will.

If your box is flush, your light will be flush.

I didn't buy from here, I bought local, but I found this online.

I agree, certain applications, not all. I'm not a fan of occupancy switches which are huge and unsightly. I have considered putting one in the kids room though.

Nice, I'm sure they can be helpful if the switches are hard to reach!
