Me and my body did some brain storming and made some mounts for my recovery boards.
Material used was 1/4" aluminum and 3/8" hardware.

These are the genero X-Bull brand boards made famous by eBay and Amazon.
I have used them a couple of times with good results, and plan to run them until I bust one. Then I will upgrade to some maxtrax.

The para-cord keeps the tension plated retained so they do not get lost when the boards are in use.

I also made a new axe/shovel mount because the previous model that I made and used for a couple years needed some improvements.

Love this solution. Plan on buying those same boards and mounting them that way as well. Thanks for the idea!

Very clean, nicely done! What hardware did you use to attach them to the track?

I purchased t-nuts from Amazon and sourced all of the 3/8" hardware at a local hardware store. I used some washers in front of the t-nuts to distribute the weight onto the rail a little bit.
I can get you some pictures of how they are mounted if you need them.

That would be awesome if you could grab a picture of that part whenever you have time. I’m a week or two out from doing this myself so no rush. Thanks!

Some of the hardware was sourced online using the below search terms.

    Not sure at this point.
Unless if you have a tonneau, then cool, but it’ll get stolen real quick.

Get some t-slot nuts to secure it to your rails.

That would a bit noisy and not as fast as my pocket knife...and my tunny is in my back yard. Bad scenario for the perp that f**ks with my truck or anything else....career ending decision...just sayin
