ok sorry I know this topic has been beat to death, but I’m new to the site... having 5100’s installed on the front on the middle setting.... hoping the back is still slightly higher; not touching the back with anything right now, thoughts?

Had the 2006 done and loved to the look, hoping this new one looks good too

I think the middle setting does leave just a smidge of rake.

Put anything in the back and you’ll be chin up though.

Great thanks, I just don’t wanna be sittin ass heavy when I hook my boat up, sounds like the middle setting is the right choice. Wouldn’t think there’d be a whole lotta difference in the ride bc it’s got stock Bilstein on there now

I am having 5100's installed at the middle level on my '19 this weekend. However, I am undecided on just having the fronts installed or should I do front & rear? Would love to here from you all about the PRO's & CON's of doing only fronts or both. TIA!

I notice the fronts much more than the rears but if your budget allows, I would do the rears too.

I did the middle setting up front and .75” rear shackles...I think it’s perfect.

I have 5100's on all four corners, fronts on the middle setting. I did all four because I figured that if I'm doing the fronts I might as well do the rears, my OCD wouldn't allow shiny silver shocks up front and dirty yellow shocks in the back and it's only money .
The pics are bad, truck is filthy and it's a 2nd gen but it should give you an idea of how it sits. 4ft level on the pinch weld and on the bedrail.20190606_192537.jpg 20190606_193754.jpg 20190606_193723.jpg

Got the Yota done today... middle setting has me with about 1” rake back to front. Measured from center of wheel to bottom of wheel opening... 24” back, 23” front, love the look, exactly what I was hoping for and the stock tires don’t look stupid so i can still wear em down before going to an AT.

I did that on my 2010 and found The ride too stiff. How does your ride?

I am very curious too as to how your ride is now. Stiffer? Is it uncomfortable in any way? Is the habdling better now?

    Thanks for any input.

Yeah, I'm curious too. Had the middle setting on my 07 Tacoma and the ride was rough. I put on toytec hd springs, put the shocks back on bottom setting and it was butter.
