Snugtop Owners, I have a question for you.

I have a Snugtop Rebel on my 2018 Tundra DC. The "wrap-around" rail feature hangs over my deck rail channels so that I can use the side rails anymore. I'm trying to show it in this pic, notice how the top edge of the rail is overlapped by the cap. Is this normal?

Normal i have the same top . You cant use the factory cleats but i have alot of things mounted to mine using t slot nuts and mounts some vendors make.there is enough gap in between the hangover and the bed rail to slip things in between to mount solidly to the channel

Yep, it’s normal but I easily fixed it by cutting about 1/2” off with my skill saw. Set depth shallow and cut it right in place. Wear a dust mask, that fiberglass dust is bad stuff

On mine, I unscrewed the black knobs enough to clear the snugtop. You can then still use the hooks to attach to. You probably can't crank down on it as much, but still enough to hold most things in place.
