I had a Technics linear drive turntable. Made it easy to make custom tapes because you could program the tracks.

It's appropriate I'm watching 'Ready Player One' while cruising this memory lane of a thread.

This particular Lego set I memorized the plans. I was able to build this thing without using the plans, that's how many time I built and rebuilt it.

Had this one, possibly still at my parents house.

His neck would move up and down. Scared the shit out of me every morning. I would tape a note on it saying Saturday morning cartoons so I would remember when I woke up early on Saturdays.

As a 8-year-old child, Rick Rhoden went on a slip-and-slide and impaled himself on a pair of rusty scissors. He then developed symptoms of polio. He used a cane to walk with until the age of 12. He underwent an operation to remove part of his left knee so that it would not outgrow his right one.

After ending his baseball career, pitcher Rhoden went on to win multiple celebrity golf tournaments, earning over a million dollars.

He was probably the best hitting pitcher of his era with a .238 career average, 9 home runs and 75 RBI's. He started a game as the designated hitter and recorded an RBI on a sacrifice fly as a member of the New York Yankees on June 11, 1988.

Holy grail indeed!! If you had the Flagg, you were definitely the cool kid!
This was 2 of 4 main toys for me the bulk of childhood. One of the others was already mentioned...ThunderCats!

The other that's not been mentioned a lot thus far, Star Wars! This was one of my prized centerpieces. It was later converted into a GI Joe woodland FOB.
