Haven't seen much about the G4 Elite in the past several years. Anyone have a long term update? I can't justify the Diamondback, with all the research I've done seems the G4 Elite has a good reputation.

I have had a fold a cover on my Tacoma for the last 7 years and it has held up very well. It will support a king mattress on top of it which is nice if you ever have to move one. I have only had to adjust it 1 time since initial install. On rough roads the cover will develop some squeak over time. The solution is add WD40 or a dab of grease to the (4) latches/ locking posts. I tried to justify a Diamondback cover as well but couldn't get over the sticker shock and multiple reviews of them leaking on the tundras dues to bed cap design/ flex. I purchased a 2nd Fold-a Cover for my tundra last year and It is just as nice as the one on my Tacoma. Only quirk is having to lift the cover to shut the tailgate. There is a seal on the rear section of the cover that compresses on top of the tailgate to seal for water leak. If you shut the tailgate without lifting the rear cover, you will deflect the seal.

Yeah I'm thinking of pulling the trigger in the next week or two. Just ordered the remote start and will have to knock it out first. Thanks stuckinohio.
