Here is a link to an auto detailer in SLC, UT that I have been thinking about using. https://luxeautospa.com/
I don't have a place, the time, or the skill/inclination to detail my truck. I live in a land of dust, wind, and searing high elevation sun, so I want to break the habit of the $10 autowashes that don't do anything for protection.

First off, I am wondering if anyone one in here has used them, and what the experience was like. Would you go back or recommend them?

Second, if you've not been to this detail shop have you been to others, and what was it like? Would you do it again?

Third, if you don't meet either of the first two categories, what do you think of this shop? Their products? If it were you would you try them out? I'm tagging @War Machine cuz the detailing thread listed him, but showed @SouthBoundSteve as a guru. Not sure if you are both detailing gurus, but I though I'd ask.

They seem really expensive to me. The ceramic doesn’t seem too far out of line, though the price doesn’t include the paint correction. They show $75.00/hour to do that, which isn’t unreasonable depending on how many hours they take to do it.

The detail at $595.00+ seems really excessive. Unless the interior of your truck is absolutely disgusting, that’s a 2-3 hour job at most. I can have mine thoroughly cleaned inside and out in less than 2 hours easily. A little longer if I need to shampoo or steam the carpets or seats. A lot of their other services seem really high to me also.

These guys are local to me. I haven’t used them, but people I know do, and their work is exceptional. They have a very good reputation in Houston. Their most expensive detail is $295.00, and it includes engine cleaning and basic paint correction. The only thing I see out of line is the price they charge for paint seal, but I’m not sure what it includes.

Unless the price of things is way higher in Utah than it is in Houston, I can’t see that place being worth what they charge.

Thanks for the input. I really am fumbling in the dark, so I really appreciate it.

I don't know if you're still looking for a detail shop in SLC but I recommend these guys https://www.pioneerautospa.com/
On a trip down there a couple of years ago I used them on my PRO based on a recommendation of a friend who lives there and uses them. They were great to work with, fit me in to get it done and were a great value for the price considering where there at.

While I am sure Luxe Auto Spa does a great job they look like they're about double what Pioneer Auto Spa would be.

    Hope that helps, good luck!
