Hey everyone, is anyone riding with stock wheels but aftermarket tires?

I would want to keep the stock wheels and add a leveling kit on my truck and upgrade to some toyo tires. Is it possible? Would love to go with 35s by the way

What wheels do you have now? SR5? Limited? Platinum? 1794? PRO?

Yes possible but width of the tire will be the factor. May need to add 1.25" wheel spacers like I did.
I have the RW wheels with 1.25" Spidertrax wheel spacers for a end offset of 18.24mm. Wheel offset was +50. Yours will be +60. The width of tire that I have is about 11.5".

Can be done but you're definitely going to need some wheel spacers

What's the biggest I can go with not adding any type of lift or spacers?
What would be the biggest I could go with only adding 2.5" spacers? Thanks for the help guys

With 2.5" spacer lift and maybe some wheel spacers you can probably get 285/70/18 in there without any major cutting.

I fit LT285/70R18 Nitto Exo Grapplers on my Tundra with Fox 2.0 coilovers (~2.5" of lift), SPC Light Racing upper control arms (slightly larger than stock), with stock rear leaf springs, and have experienced no rubbing issues off-road. If you go with 12.5" wide tires you will need spacers but if you got a tire like mine or a LT285/75R18 (35") you'll probably be OK. Depends on the tire too. The lugs on something like the Toyo M/T stick out pretty far and would probably not clear.

TC long travel. Deaver 420 SU leaf packs.
I'm running 295 75 18 STT pros on stock TRD wheels with 1.25" spacers. I have something like 3.5" of lift in the front and 1" rear.

Check my build thread. I am running a 35" tall tire, just little narrower than a 35x12.50-18. I run a 285/75R-18 nitto G2 on oem wheels, no spacer, no body mount chop and plenty of UCA clearance. Good luck with everything. And yes I articulate the heck out of the suspension off-road.

Thanks man! I've been lazy but I plan on doing a build thread, just so I can have a spot when I"m bored to constantly look back over my truck as she's grown over the past months hahaha.

Running the new Ridge Grapplers 295/60R20 with 3" ToyTec lift, Spidertrax 1.25 Spacers, Removed front flaps, push the liner forward and heatgun the rear liners.
Was contemplating the 35x11.5, they could fit without the mud flaps.
Love the ride and tires are really quite.
