I have one on my 07 Tacoma and ran it for 5+ years. It worked perfect.

Let us know if it works out.
    It should be capable,
"Operating Systems: Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows 2003 Server, Windows XP, Vista 32-bit and 64-bit, Windows 7 32-bit and 64-bit."

Ya my speedo wasn't off much. I just got a really good deal from another member.
Also wanted to see if it actually made a difference in "shift points"
Didn't notice much. Only thing I really noticed was the on board computer reading closer to actual mpg.

Installed it today after programming it on my desktop first (I'll try my Surface later down the road once I go up in tire size to 40s). I don't think the calibrator is supposed to fix "shift points" just by seeing how it installs itself. The module just modifies what the ICU reads from the truck's computers. I'd think you'd need an actual tuner to affect the shift points. Either way, I mainly bought this to fix both odometer/speedometer and it seems to have done so -- I'll do more accurate testing tomorrow.

    Right,
reading most reviews a ton of them say they have seen/felt better shift points.
Honestly I didn't notice anything. Even when towing w/ or w/o tow mode no difference was noticed.
MPG's are fairly the same give or take how my driving is on that tank.
IMHO I could've walked away from the deal. Didn't do much of a difference for me.

Do I input the settings BEFORE I take dash apart and install? Or do I install the inline cal and then hook it up to the computer via USB?

You can set the settings before or after by installing the device but keeping the USB cord plugged into it. Then just route the cord behind and down the steering wheel area near the pedals. That way you can just plug in your laptop to the other end of the cord and modify the settings in the future.

Ok so I'm going to hook everything up into the truck and then I can just go into the program on my computer and type in the tire size. I just didn't want to fry anything I couldn't really find any good instructions on before or after. Thanks!

any clue as to why it keeps saying ERROR when I click program unit?

Edit: contacted hypertech didn't have the right drivers for USB. I set it to 37" for my tires and was off 10 mph so I reset it to 36" tires and it's spot on.

If I'm an installer, I'm offering this as a $20 add-on and making my money back in 10 or so installs. Why don't they offer this?

I know this thread is over a year old, but has anyone heard/experienced anything more related to the in-line calibrator and the 2016+ Platinums? I'm about to order one and I'm hoping I don't run into any problems with the install or functionality.

Anyone know if the dealership can detect or would have issues with this being installed when bringing in for maintenance?
