I guess I'm officially old now - - I've demoted myself to taking pics of birds.....

I'm learning a tethered remote cam control program. First couple of grabs aren't too shabby.
I think I need to shift the focus point a little bit and bump the shutter speed more. I need to move the motion detection zone a little to the left too.

Reducing and sharing through Postimage isn't very friendly to the sharpness. :(

One of my favorites from a trip to Banff earlier this month. The last big trip with my 4Runner before trading it in on the Tundra.

I either use my 70-200 f2.8 or my 300 f2.8. Most of the time I am using the 300 prime lens.

From last weekend. Hiked up to these falls and got stung by a bee on the way in. Apparently I've gotten semi allergic over the last couple of decades because my eyes and nose swelled up after being stung on my leg.

That's a good lens, and that's a superb amp. I have an Engl preamp that nails that early Van Halen tone.

Nice, I would love more Engl gear, its just so pricey. They have some smaller wattage heads out now but they're still ridiculously expensive and its really hard to find a place that's got them for demo.
