I did not. Maybe one day, but up to the Tranny should be plenty. Should be able to notice scraping on something before making it to the transfer case...

Man, you guys just keep giving me ideas. Gonna have to watch the $$$. :spending: You mentioned that you removed the inner fenders. Do you replace them with anything or literally just remove them?

    Sweet ride, btw.

Haha! Yeah it’s easy to get sucked in!

I removed them completely. Would be nice to have them back in but the pros without them outweigh the cons.

    Yep.

OK. I'm going to try that. Mine are needing replaced anyways.

So you are running Icon 2.5s, 650 13" coils (extended all the way I'm assuming) and one CB shim (those are 1/4", right?) with 285/70/17s and it's got good height on the front?

You are correct. Everything clears fine without trimming metal. But I’ve done the pinch weld and such for better clearance / less rubbing...

Dang, that's a nice truck. I'm going to take my collars down another 3/8" so I'm at the full 1-3/8" with these 700x14 coils. I have them at 1" now and am just not happy with the way it sits.

CVJ remanned OEM axles showed up today!

    -High Angle Inner Boots
    -OEM Outer Boots
    -Inner Joint Lip Machining

Hopefully they last like they should. I’ll be keeping track of time / miles to see how they hold up.

Have you had any issues with your steering rack leaking?

I did. It was a slow leak. After a year of slow leaking I replaced it with a remanned rack and added poly Bushings.

Just noticed mine leaking on both sides. Sounds like I’m on the same path.

How is the remanned rack holding up? How was the swap? Messy?

Do you guys think it starting leaking because of the increased angle on the inner tie rods, post lift, or from the additional strain from pushing bigger tires? I'm wondering what I should expect with mine. I may wait to install my poly bushings if I'm going to have to replace the rack anyways.

Rack is still holding up just fine. It’s been 2.5yrs since we replaced it. This rack was from EBay go figure haha.

Swap wasn’t too bad. I had a buddy help me. Having an extra set of hands is very helpful. We did the rack and lbjs and it took us about 6 hours with a trip to Oreillys.

I’m sure a combo of it all. But old age is probably the main factor. Once the seals go it’s a slow leak till it’s replaced.

You remembered correctly. I’m running their suction cup for my IPhone 6s+. It’s held up great. Pretty stable while off-road but the suction cup is very strong. No problems yet. It’s been stuck to my windshield since Christmas

I know you didn’t ask me, but anyway, based on Riley’s recommendation, I got one for the smaller sized iPad; it’s held up great so far. Haven’t tested yet it on high speed desert whoops though....

Be careful if you pull yours. I removed mine (no snorkle), 1st rain I had water in the bottom of my airbox, no bueno - current intake design is perfect for ingesting water without a fender liner. I capped my fender wall and have the air box open in the engine bay for now - debating if I want to go the snorkle route or do some custom plumbing to pull from the cowl instead.
