Is it that you just need something that consumes oil so you can try to keep the engine running while constantly puttin ball joints in it too?

Ah, you all are the best. I am going to have to be honest with you all, and this is going to take a little bit.

I have a small problem that has turned into a bigger problem. I average per day on this site 3 hours. That is crazy right? Now think about all the other sites I visit (diesel ones, Jeep ones, Facebook & my club FB page, AR-15 ones, the Glock ones) I probably spend no less than 5 hours on the internet per day. I really need to spend my time wiser than this. I sit at home finger f'n my phone all night, ignoring the people that I care about the most. Last night, I realized something when I was PM'n a fellow member. One of my kids asked me "Dad, are you ever going to put the phone down?" It was like being hit in the chest with a bat (I do have experience with this, played catcher in baseball) I became the person I never wanted to be. I told the person to take care and see them around. Probably should have gave a small explanation. Today was a madhouse after my post and really didn't get a chance to chat with anyone until later. Thank @Sean266, your a good man. My better half has mentioned this to me as well on several occasions and very recently. My Queen is very understanding, but I don't want to push the limits of her "understanding". She is my everything, and this doesn't work without her.

So I am going to spend my time a little wiser. If I am at work, have the time, I will check you all out. Some of the best people on the net I could be a part of.

What am I going to do with my time you ask? It is high time I get back in shape. I am 42 years old and feel like 60, and probably look that old too. I have become "comfortable" in how I look, and that just isn't going to cut it. So tonight, I actually used my home gym for the first time in years and I am going to continue to use it until I see results or it breaks. Might need some advice from some of you fitness people @Sean266 @Law323 @TNTundra08, I will get a group PM together and see what they suggest.

@landphil, The original post was not directed at you, but this is:

We got into a debate about brakes, one ton trucks, and that is it. I wasn't mad and hope you didn't take that from the debate. This wasn't about you and me. I can handle a good debate. You're all right by me. I do feel that I took it a little far and for what? Cock measuring rights? I laughed when our whole ordeal was done not because of the content of the debate, but the time involved in the debate. I shouldn't have singled you out. Kinda shitty thing to do. My apologies, I normally do not conduct myself in that manor.

So instead of posting pages of wonderful boobies all the time which makes the Mods go nutz, I have decided to go a different route.

Funny enough, kit is still on the truck. The only way i'll sell the kit is by selling the entire kit. Not just part it out like everyone wants. too much hassle to part it out and not enough time or care to.

Same here... even though I'm a newbie, I've enjoyed your posts / comments. AND I totally get it. I love that you refer to your wife as your Queen ( as do I). I'm a better person because of her. The physical therapist in me APPLAUDS your commitment to take care of yourself... if you don't, no one else will... I see it every day at work. So stay strong... stick with it.. and stop by and say hi once in a while. YOU ROCK!!!

Well Chris, that seems a good enough reason . And I can relate - I spend / waste way to much time on a half-dozen or more forums, and am guilty of similarly ignoring my family and other responsibilities at times. You just might be responsible for inspiring some changes for me too.
Since there are too many miles in between to do this in person, this will have to do. Take care!

Chris, Even though I hadn't really had any sort of conversation with you other than the likes we have had towards one anothers comments I really hate the thought of you leaving us. I have found several of your post enjoyable and educational as well. I hope that you'll reconsider leaving and stay on as a valued member of our community. If not, I wish you and your family all the best!

A little of this and a little of that.
Everything in moderation @ColoradoTJ . Hopefully you'll enlighten us every once in a while. I think you've made the right decision, family first. Good luck on getting in shape. I'm not a real contributor on this site (more of a taker really, lol) but I've spent the better half of 18 years being a "gym rat". I'd be happy to help you out if you ever have a question with getting back in shape. Just message me.

Man, I'm the same way. It becomes so hibitual. I hate most social media yet I can't stay off. It's like smoking, the habit of just picking something up and going through the motion. I'm real close to deleting my facebook. I'm starting to notice how bad about it I am at work, fiddling through facebook when it's slow and it's really unproductive.

My girlfriend and I both. One weekend we challenged each other to see who could last the longest without their phone besides answering texts or calls from someone important. We both laid around one day playing on the phone, it's so normal that we didn't even realize we were doing it.

@ColoradoTJ , I totally respect your decision. It takes a real man/husband/father to come to and admit that realization. For what it's worth, you're alright in my book. We all have passions and hobbies, but never ever should they come before family. Enjoy your new found time and make the best of it. We're not going anywhere, and look forward to your jokes and knowledge in the future

@ColoradoTJ , there's a middle ground between binging and total abstinence. I'm surprised that I am here at all, in general I don't like people and never joined any groups, clubs, or teams.
Ended up posting here 'cause coachbuilder asked me to post about how I installed his stuff and I stayed around.
You and I share a similar sarcastic bent, if you're ever in the verde valley, AZ let me buy you a beer or a good scotch.
