I have the 882 and the 850 and use them both regular. The 850 works well for what it is. The 882 I use in the shop and garage. Also use it in the screen room when needed. I also do not work for Milwaukee but I did drink the cool aide. All of my lawn/outdoor equipment sans mower (until they finally produce one) is now Milwaukee. I also have many of there drills, driver, etc.

Isn't the Ryobi tools owned by Milwaukee? The batteries with the meters are very similar to each other. I have Ryobi's 40 volt system and it works really well. The Milwaukee's version is a Fuel 18 volt, and owning various tools in the fuel line up. I would imagine it would perform really well. I would guess using it with the 12.0 battery.

Yes I have both the original and the quick loc. I have the edger attachment for the quick loc shaft as well. I am on 1/4 acre and mow, edge and weeded every 4 days (I know a little obsessive) a 5.0 battery last 3-4 weeks for each one. I also have the blower (both models) the chain saw, and the hedge trimmer. No complaints with any of them and no excessive battery usage.

Not that I’m aware of, but maybe. I have the 40v Ryobi system also. I have the weed eater with the different attachments, and it doesn’t seem very powerful.
I also have the Ryobi chainsaw. It works pretty well for small stuff, but kills the battery pretty quick.

I have a lot of Milwaukee stuff. Drill, 2 leafblowers, 2 vacuums, several portable lights, knives, flashlights, and a heat gun (not sure why, but I have it). I’m probably forgetting a few.

I need to test out one of the weed eaters and see how it compares to my Ryobi one. It does fine, but struggles with the thick “runners” that come out.

They have a polisher also, but it’s not dual action, so I haven’t tried it.

The Milwaukee lights work well, I too have several of them for different uses. The M12 inflator is a great tool to have.

Well I think you might right on the batteries compared to the Milwaukee brand batteries. I ran the new brushless fuel circular saw with a 6.0 battery all day yesterday. It was pretty darn amazing how many cuts I ran before dying out.
    Currently I have on electric,
    2 demolition hammers, 3 heat guns, 2 rotary hammer drills, 3 4 1/2" grinders.

    On Batteries,
M12- solder gun ( excellent gun, highly recommend getting one)
M12- Rivet tool, screw gun, impact gun, hacksaw, Press tool for copper pipes (excellent tool for being lightweight)
M18- Fuel Impact gun / Driver gun, new generation Circular saw, smaller tripod light (highly recommend getting one), Fan (highly recommend getting one or more)

if you havent notices I'm a tool whore.....

My favorite thing about my Milwaukee collection is that the only thing I paid for is my drill, and I got a hundred bucks off when I bought that!

Sunny and 80 here all weekend.
I spent most of yesterday cleaning and organizing maple syrup equipment. Pain in the ass to do, but it needs to be done to be ready for next season, my brother half ass cleaned everything, well some things in the spring. But had to redo everything again.
Just spent a couple hours finishing that up today. So now I can finally wash my truck, its filthy dirty, it has been a couple weeks since I rinseless washed it but today it'll get the hose. I also wanna mow the lawn, maybe install rear shocks, and change front differential oil. Probably a bit ambitious.

It did finally clear up enough to get the Tundra and Sequoia washes, but ran out of daylight for the polisher. Maybe I can get some practice with it this week.

I'm interested as well. Passenger side headlight is starting to discolor and my son's car could use a touch-up.

I think Jim has had success with 3M finnese it polish. I have used meguires scratchX and meg's plasticX with decent results. But really any polish should work. If the lights are really bad they may need wet sanding and compound before polish.
Just make sure you use something after to seal it. I recommend a 2k clearcoat, or urethane sealant.

I would use an orange foam pad or a microfiber cutting disc with the scratch x or plastic x, or really any polish you have, like mayne m205? What do you have on hand?

I use Chemical Guys microfiber detergent, seems to work well, no complaints here! For tire shine, I use Waxaddict Feeder Tyre, best stuff ive ever used. I just hit all 4 tires with it last week, its been raining and my driveway is gravel and they look like I just detailed them. Its not greasy or leaves a film, but it is fairly expensive. I bought 5 liters and with shipping was around $130ish with their discount they give us. But that should last me a very very long time.

For MF towels I have used Griots MF and foam pad cleaner and it works great and is a decent price. It also works great to clean polishing pads, usually about $15 for a quart I think.
I recently picked up some pinnacle MF towel detergent because it was buy one get one free, it too works good, I can't tell the difference.
The best bang for your buck is 3D Towel Kleen, autopia car care has it for under $20 a gallon, and that's an unreal price for MF detergent that has outstanding reviews. When I run out of my griots and pinnacle I will definitely be buying the 3D Kleen.
I am blown away by what some companies charge for MF detergent, especially chemical guys, it is such a rip off when these other brands work so well. Check autopia, autogeek, and detailedimage now and then for sales and shipping deals
