Well from your signature and pics, looks like you've done a great job with her! Wheels, tires and color matched door handles (all of which have been ordered) and I will probably be on a mod slowdown

I said I was slowing down too, but about to pull the trigger on retro headlights and tow mirrors.

I'm definitely proud of her. For the first 10K miles, I pretty much just tested the truck to the max. Now that i know my limits a little more, i've slowly been turning into a nice truck and not just one that is brand new covered in mud lol. Went from wheeling it in the snow, racing it in the sand, to getting it stuck in the mud. Now i'm in the desert lol.

Lol, We all say we're on a slowdown until we have the funds to start back up. It's a neverending sickness. Tow mirrors, fender flares, LED light bar, bull bars, chase bar, 6 inch lift and the list goes on.

Sounds like you're out enjoying life! Keep it up ... I wish I had the balls to do so. My truck probably will never seen more than the street, snow and occasional water puddle after it rains.

Yes, you will need to remove your grill and headlamps. The system is plug n play so not really much to it. Since you have Spyder headlamps, one of the hardest things for me to figure out was where to mount the alignment screws onto the collar adapters to allow easy fitting of the bulbs to the Spyder housing. The system comes with very easy to follow instructions.

On a side note ... I did just have my first issue with the V3's though. On Thursday evening I noticed one of my bulbs was no longer lighting up as a DRL and only the blinker function worked. I called VLeds after doing some troubleshooting and told them of my issue. They will be sending me a new bulb this week. The thing that bothers me is last night I now noticed that my other bulb is doing the very same thing. Guess that means I'll be calling them again tomorrow ... What I can say is that so far is my experience with VLed's customer service has been awesome. Hopefully I'll feel the same way tomorrow evening.

    Hey Dave,
did you receive the LED bulbs from VLEDs yet? Is it all working fine now? Did VLEDs said what could have happen? I hope that was just a bad batch in the production line.
I am about to buy the kit (switchback) for my truck this Friday.....any feedback would be very much appreciated.
    Cheers.

No, actually I've been to busy with work to have gotten around to doing what they want me to do to get the whole process rolling.

Looking good Jay! And welcome to the forum and our Sky Silver thread.

Just realized that you have Fuel Hostage wheels ... so that's what my truck could have looked like.

I'm liking this ... One with simpler looking flares. Don't know if my new shoes with a +20 offset is out enough for the pocket style so maybe something like yours is a nice alternative.

Those are OEM flares with 295/65/18 Duratracs on stock +50 wheels, no spacers

Well it all looks pretty flush ... I guess I'd end up sticking out alittle bit then. Something to think about after I get my retrofitted headlights.

NICE man! How is the offset on them? I still have a while before I'll be making that jump, but will need something to set out a little wider. Are these wheels wider than with the stock and spacers you had? (I think you had those right?) ha.. Then what lift do you have?

    Thanks Steve, I can't wait either ...

Primo, welcome to the family. Nice looking Tundra you got there! And thanks on telling us where to find the Tundra stickers. I knew we had them somewhere but couldn't remember where.

Wes, I went with the +20 offset. The offset alone is more aggressive that my OEM's with 1.25" spacers which equal about an +26 offset. Keep in mind I also went with wider tires too. My level is a 3/1.

Haven't been on line for a while, but lately I have. My next truck will be a TRD Pro 2018 or 2019. We will see. Not exchanging this one as this particular truck will be staying in the family. Grandson has first dibs on the truck with the condition that he will not sell it ever.

Actually, I haven't. Once I get home, I have list of things to do at home, so hardly any time to surf the web. Actually, the only time I go online is at work (don't say that out loud) but I will check it out. thanks.
