Played a local course here on Tuesday. This green was like 100’ long, and had a ridge in the middle of it. Freaking awesome!

Couple of courses I played last week. Difficult, but amazing.

Sweetens Cove - South Pittsburg, Tennessee (about 30 minutes from Chattanooga)

Old Toccoa Farm - Blue Ridge, Georgia (90 minutes north of Atlanta)

never played either of those, although I’m only like 30 minutes from sweeten’s cove.

I’m coming to play 27 at Dandridge on Sunday.

And 18 on Lambert on Saturday.

I love the game. Started golfing at the age of 40. I volunteered for the 2020 Ryder Cup. I will be on the 18th hole tee box.

I'll be walking the Houston Open on 10/12. Cant wait!

Love the game, try and play about once every couple weeks. Typically stay around 78-82, but been playing better recently. Best round was a 74 at the Golden Nugget Course in Lake Charles with my pops.

Man, I’ve been playing like DOG MEAT lately.
The only club I feel great with is my putter...but that isn’t what I want to use tee 2 green. :angrygirl:

It’s almost like I have to actually get some practice in. My typical par is blast off the tee, short side myself on the approach and chip for a 1 putt. Hard recipe for birdies doing that.

How many seeing courses closing up left and right with COVID19 scares? Only have like a handful left open and even my club is shut down.

My club is still open with a lot of new rules, no range, no locker room access, no lounge, pins stay in, raised holes so not everyone is sticking there hand in the cup... but feeling like any day it’s gonna close. Seems like a golf course is the perfect place for social distancing. Really gonna suck if they close it

I like the SkyTrak a lot. It’s accurate. I use it mainly as a driving range in my basement. I’ve bought software that allows you to play courses but I can’t get into it. I just hone my swing on the driving range and use the other features for my short game.
If you get to a point where you’re in the market, look at the new Flightscope. It uses Doppler radar like the 30,000 dollar models but has a price the same as the Skytrak.

I worked at a golf course for two years while in high school. I gave one guy a hole in one while raking a sand trap one morning. He never knew it was me and was tickled to death.

I didn't actually start playing until I was in my early 30's. I spend so much time sitting on my ass at a computer or on an airplane that I'll go out and walk a hilly nine holes a few times a week for the exercise.

Had a membership at Hazeltine in Minneapolis. Used to play 20-30 rounds a summer before kids. Then kids came and play dropped to less than 10 rounds a summer. Then membership initiation fee and full dues were going to kick-in. And we were moving to Boston. Now we are back in MN and I wish I would have kept my membership. My father is retired and works at a course in northern MN. I play with him for free a couple of times a month. IMG_4699.jpg

Last week, got the closest I've ever been to getting an ace. The rest of the round was not that great of course.
