    :confused: I’m in need of some advice on my build that I got going on. I’m in process of working on my lift and I am just curious to know if I am gonna run into any issues or if I’ll need anything else in conjunction with what I’m trying to get set up.

    Bilstein 6112/5160 @ 1.9 setting
    Toytech shackle +2
    TRD rear sway bar

    As you can see if the photo, I do have the TRD dual exhaust. I appreciate the advice in advance!!! :thumbsup:

    What is selling you on the TRD sway bar? How do you plan on using the truck? Lots of off-road, exclusively on-road, mix...

    Ive heard great things about the 6112's. I went with 5100 due to budget. I will save and upgrade next year to 6112. That rear right tire looks pretty cooked...are you getting wheels and tires? just tires?

    @AZBoatHauler it’ll definitely be a mixer of both. i would say a 30/70% (off road/on road)

    @NateDiz ya that’s the process I am going through right now just rather save up a bit more and get the 6112. I actually have the new set of tires (KO2 275/60/20) sitting in the shed. I got about another couple months or so with the old tires, considering I only drive about 3 miles to work lol

    In that case you may want to drive it a while after you make the suspension mods without the rear TRD say bar and see if you feel it would help. It will limit your articulation off-road and I frankly don't feel I need to be any more "locked-in" on the highway. Sway isn't an issue for me at all.

    I paid Toyota to install my 5100's because of the spring work. I would have actually saved money installing a preassembled 6112 coilover in my garage... Live and learn. However, my 5100s have been excellent on road and on trails. The 5100/5160 combo really stiffened things up and gave it a "truck" feel
