    It never ends does it?
I changed my oil @ 1000 miles because I'm old-school and I had the tools to do it .

It gives you the opportunity to look at the filter media close-up for any issues.

For the non-ffv folks, has anyone had luck with the dealer changing the oil at 12 months even though your not close to 10k miles with their Toyota care?

    Getting there
If you tow, you fall under “severe duty” OCI is 5k in that instance. I run M1 0w20 and OE filters I got off Amazon with a 5k OCI and no issues. ~32k miles

Dealer my first 5 on FFV at 5k. I do my own now. Glad I bought the aluminum filter cap. After the final change at dealer it took a 2' cheater bar on a 5/8" ratchet and neighbor holding my legs to get it off. Destroyed the plastic cap and one cheap filter wrench in the process. They also left out skid plate bolts. This was after several previous complaints about their service dept. They replaced bolts and offered a new cap. I told them I had put a metal one on already so what am I going to do with a plastic one. Have not been back. The drain hose that comes with filter drain is plenty long and works great on the Fumoto.

Change it yourself. Just do it. Changed mine @ 1600 miles. 2nd change at 11000 miles. Hey that icky break-in oil out.

I was just at dealership on 13Sep19 for first service. 2019 SR5 DC built 2/19 with exactly 3990mi on odo. I bought the truck new on 17May19.
At first I was just supposed to get tire rotation and fluids check. I was told the oil change would occur at 10k because the oil is rated for 15k. When the service was finished the oil had indeed been changed. So I was happy.

During the tire rotation, all wheels ended up at 35psi. I deflated them down to stock pressure when I got back home. They are the stock Michelin LTX on 18s. I am a bit religious about tire pressures.

Dealership almost always screwed mine up even to the point of the TPMS coming on on cool mornings. I had to point out the supplemental door sticker for BFGs. I would have been OK with over inflated but under meant I had to get the compressor out and wait for it to get up to pressure. I think the Tundra door sticker is too low. I would have left them at 35 especially on a LT tire.

On my 2018 I had the same issue (TPMS warning on cool mornings, especially when I visited my brother in Bend, Oregon where it got down to 26F some mornings). I solved this by boosting the tire pressures from the door sticker 30 psi F, 33 psi R to 32 psi F, 35 psi R.
