So. What’s everyone think about this new Blazer from Chevy? I was raised a die hard GM man, and honestly, I had such high hopes. But I could not be more disappointed. Round fenders, size is all wrong, smaller than a traverse, bigger than an equinox, wtf?? It is the literal fault of “oh shit, Ford is bringing back the Bronco!!. We better slap a Blazer badge on something”. And the exact reason I now drive a 15 Tundra with almost 150k miles on it and no issues instead of the brand new 14 Silverado I bought that shit the bed with 120k likes on it, and didn’t get a new one cause they JUST GOT SO UGLY MAN. I understand I’m a little old school and new designs may take a minute for me to come around to, but I honestly can’t understand what Chevy is going off recently. They’re trying to be the next Honda Ridgeline and I don’t get it.

Anyone with me or am I on a island and everyone else likes the way Chevy is going and thinks the new Blazer is bad ass??

Looks terrible. I mean, that's a Blazer?! You've gotta be kidding me. I wouldn't drive that through a puddle, much less offroad. I also don't like the new Silverados and I HATE the Ridgeline - looks like a minivan with a chopped top. Modern SUV and truck design has produced tame, rounded, chromed street queens. Where's the aggressive toughness in design?

It looks like everything else. Hyundai, Kia, Nissan.....pick one, it could be any brand. At least Ford is making the Bronco look like one.

Where is it going to be built? Mexico?
The new Blazer XL coming out next year is said to be getting built in China?
I googled it but hard to find info? GM must pay to block certain info?

Horrible. I've been disappointed with the Blazer for the last 40 years.

I don’t know about that. All the pics online are prototypes. I think the Bronco will disappoint with a watered down modern SUV look as well.

The lines are a little off from the 78 blazer.

Kind of reminds me of what Nissan did to the Pathfinder. A once true SUV, now something that is grounded to concrete......

Man, why are they making what once was a nice off-road capable vehicle into a soccer mom suv?

I was excited when the bronco concept came out, but reality didn’t cease to disappoint.

You would think that there would be some retro resemblance if they bring the name back. I guess the Chevy bow tie is still there...

If the new bronco and blazer looked like this, I’d definitely consider buying one.....not the case.

Bronco concepts started out nice, looked real retro and distinguishable Bronco, but the latest does not resemble a Bronco at all.

Blue retro is cool.. at least it looks like a Bronco
Silver one just looks like they were trying to use up left over Excursion grills
Orange one looks like a Nissan...no...just no

If they want it to be smaller then at least go with a boxer look of original Broncos.

I have owned an F-150 never a chevy hated chevys from the get go, always felt cheaply made. Have owned two Ram 1500, first was good, the second suffered from rust way to quick, I bought this Tundra about 5 weeks ago and i enjoy it more and more every day so I do not see myself ever going to anything else. Yes the old Broncos were great but the new versions of it are not even close in looks and I could not even call it a Bronco.
