Sorry, we've been out on a roadtrip from Texas to Jasper, Alberta. I don't remember what rails we used, some AA-Racks crossbars which we bolted on top of some square tubing to add a little bit of storage space underneath.

People will tout that this is the best or that is garbage. I’ll bet there’s some redneck out there that will swear by their piece of plywood is the best thing since corn bread. ( at this point, look down and if you are wearing shoes you shouldn’t be offended). I’ve had the Bakflip MX4 going on 3 years. Love the fact that I can still use the Oem tie downs. Really happy with the security and usefulness—ability to fold and haul a regular load and have only detected a few minor leaks. When I needed a new clamp customer service was excellent as they sent me a whole bag of installation items. It has faded, however. I’ve had a hard tonneau and the hard fold is the way to go.

Love my tri fold Rugged Cover 2. Water tight, strong enough to walk on top of it, as long as tailgate is locked everything in the bed is secured, has LED lighting and I can take it off in about a minute and put it back on in 2 minutes. Absolutely love it and would never think about getting anything else.

    Not many yet, mostly stock.
I have the Tri fold Bak flip, works great mostly water resistant, folds up quickly, easy hauling. I've had the fiberglass one piese also( on a ford) very secure. Down falls... Heavy, need two people to install/ take off, can't haul much, limited height, make sure you have a spare key. Yep I made that mistake... Lol.

That's a pretty slick looking cover. With a cremax you will loose space tho

Yeah I thought about that. Quick removal was the compromise. The only thing I’m a tad bummed about after finding Go Fast Campers is that the Peragon requires the removal of the rails.

I've had a bakflip for three years. It's not waterproof, so it probably won't work for you. Water comes in through the back corners. Not a lot, but I live in an arid climate, getting maybe 6 in a yr

I'm going with this option. Retrax with the Yakima Overhaul HD. Best of both worlds.

Was looking into these PERAGON bed covers. My buddy has one on his ram1500 and I like it. The company can also do matching color which also has me looking into it more. But bed cover equals no roll bar as far as I checked ☹

Diamond back, but if you want a rack it won’t work unless you unload everything off first. But you sure can load it up on top and the cleats work well.D95F1803-4978-4383-8A69-4B24FF64AD07.jpg441C3E24-F8FE-48D0-874E-7E1571853F59.jpgC6981FA4-7E60-42FD-975B-D2AD72D02170.jpg9E8606EB-AC19-4FFE-BE16-CCED591BB76E.jpg

It has been pouring rain here for the last 3 days, and when I opened up my diamond back tonneau cover this is what the results wereDE153141-F20E-4F61-AECE-4E13BE1654CD.jpgE61DA3C6-D019-453C-B77B-554FAF627B8A.jpg It was just a little wet in the forward corners, the pic without the chair what appears to be wet is some fishing bait stuff that I gotta wash out. But all that sand is dry. Got to say the best cover and you can lock it up.

None to day....that’s why I’m here.
I have to bring this thread back to life!

I have had my bak revolver since the fall of 2017 so this is a 4 year review. Nothing is perfect but in general I am happy with my purchase. I’m a negative person so I always have more bad than good.

    good:
*To start it was drier than the camper top on my Tacoma
*it is secure, nothing has been stolen out of my bed if the tailgate is locked
*it has taken kids up to 40 lbs jumping on it without damage
    *no major malfunctions

    not so good:
    * black vinyl cracks over time in the aluminum joints and loses some of the water proofness
*when rolled up and you are getting a load of mulch or the like, the track will get debris in it and is hard to clean
    * can be hard to open on askew surfaces that are making the bed torque
    * as top surface degrades it will leave your hands black when you mess with it
    * it is hard to operate when cold aka stiff plastic
    * felt strips on bottom side come off but are necessary so you don’t burn the crap out of your hands

Overall it has been great, a few improvements and it would be awesome !

After owning for several years, I agree with this as well. One additional item, the clips to hold the cover feel brittle are a few years. Hope they hold up.

In 2004 I put a Undercover on my then new Ram 1500 and it was TOUGH. I stood on top of it to change light bulbs in the garage, stood and walked on it all spring and summer for 15 years to bowfish off my truck at the edge of rivers and lakes, let my kids sit on it to watch fireworks with chairs, took it on and off more times that I care to count, etc. and it looked almost new after 15 years and 100k miles. I sold the truck two years ago to buy my current 2020 Tundra and looked at them again only to find their quality had slipped something terrible. What a shame.

I bought a Diamondback instead and am glad I did. It was far more expensive, but it has been durable so far and I like the added security. First bed cover I bought that gets compliments and questions and that I think has actually increased my truck's value in some respects.

Diamondback for me. I probably get more compliments and questions on this one mod than any other. I got the SE with extra cleats and the crossbin.

In reply to Uturn09 and georgiey22 - I have a revolver bed cover that I really like. It mounts flush to the bed, has a sturdy support structure, rolls out of the way for cargo without taking up internal bed space, compatible with the existing cargo rail system, is secure and is pretty water tight. I also experienced the vinyl material cracking after a while - it cracks at the aluminum rib joints when it gets weathers and rolls up repeatedly. I had mine on for almost 3 years, and I reached out to the manufacturer to ask about the best way to repair. They asked me when I bought it, and I told them (it was just under 3 years ago). They told me that they carry a 3-year warranty, and so they sent me a replacement cover at no charge. I did have to send photos showing them that I destroyed my old one, but I got a brand new cover that is going well so far. I highly recommend them based on their product AND customer service....

    Diamond back.

Only downside is if you have to load something big in the bed it’s gotta come off, unless it can fit in the back half then you just disconnect the hinges and flip it over all the way and tie it down.

    But it’s effin sweet

Had the bakflip mx4 and really liked it. just became a PIA with the rack on to reach stuff in the back of the bed. went with the Retrax pro xr. lost dome bed space but it is workable...so far so good 1 month now. have not noticed any leaks.
