Not really. It’s good for everyone to see and understand that the tunes everyone gets aren’t exactly the same.

Knowing that, helps when we see everyone share their experience and recognize that we can make minor adjustments.

It’ll also help us all troubleshoot if we know there’s a possible difference between tunes.

To maybe add to this, or probably just put it a different way. I agree that it's a good idea to share our experience and feedback here with each other, but if it's something that is more directed to Mat about something that is specific to your tune, send it to his Zendesk so that it's all in a threaded email and he can just look at that email to refresh in his mind what your details are. I hope that makes sense...

    1. I think thats his goal in a future release

    2. When I have to get over a big rock or steep ledge, the ECU does not let me have full throttle. Matt says that in 1st or 2nd gear while in 4wd, the ECU limits throttle but he can fix that. Thats is really the main reason I want the tune. Here is an example of what I am talking about. I always have a difficult time getting over these types of obstacles. I was in 4lo with all nannies off and giving it full throttle doesnt do anything:

I did both. I'm really just learning along the way. So i am not exactly where the line is between what I do or don't like and how the truck should or shouldn't act.

the problem isnt even rpm, it didnt get above 1500 I think. The problem is it felt like the gas pedal was dead, like it wasn't working

Anyone else notice the gear lock shifting into other gears in certain scenarios? Put 500 miles of towing probably 4000-5000lbs today, and on the return trip had a lot of instances where I'd be in 5th and it'd kick down to 4th or even 3rd. This was with and without cruise control on. I couldn't find anything that definitely was making it happen, but was wondering if it was a safety feature for the tranny getting hot or something (only thing that seemed to have possible correlation). Sometimes I could floor it in 5th and it'd chug and other times it'd downshift to 3rd.

Also gear lock upshifting won't happen while on the gas, I have to let off and then a few seconds later it'll upshift. Again, figuring this is a safety feature to not power through a shift or something? Just curious if other people have experienced the gear lock not shifting when you shift it, or shifting on its own without you shifting it.

Also, thanks again Mat for getting me an updated tune the same day you got my first one out. Still running rich but I can reach and get into boost and still maintain 14.7 which is a first

Hello everybody. I just signed up for an account here as I purchased the OV tune this past Friday. Cant wait to get it. After reading 37 pages of this forum I dont think I have any questions left!

Please don't ban me from the forum as I have a 2011 sequoia with the 5.7. I just cant fit my 5 kids, wife, dogs, etc into a pickup... !! I look forward to Gear lock and any extra power to be had to tow my travel trailer.

I've considered one myself! Drop the back seats and use a Weathertech mat and you've got most of what I'd use the truck for anyway.

My buddy used to put full 4x8 plywood sheets in his.

Everyone who has issues with our current logger is waiting on our new logger. You just posted about the logger yesterday..

The minute our new logger is done you'll be first to get it I promise you that.

If you still can't wait, maybe try a different computer if you have one.

I have a house full of Apple Devices and one PC (Panasonic Toughbook) that I use for interface with my Golf Cart (ECU tuning) and the Tundra (TechStream) with no others.

I have not tried the roll back, never had to in the past. I will see if that works today when I get home

Mine has always worked too, until this last one, but I'm signed up to get early Windows builds and all that stuff that doesn't always work to begin with, so it's kinda my fault too.

No need to roll back updates or do any funky stuff with windows. Our new logger app is under testing and will be available very soon. After that you can just delete the old POS logger.

Does that mean no tune revisions provided until new logger is ready?

Mine still works and I need to make a Top Secret run over a couple mountain passes and the Continental Divide this evening. :spy:

With all the tunes sent out Friday and Saturday, I'm surprised there aren't more "reviews"!

I'm still waiting on mine but I am very interested in hearing from other supercharged folks who are transitioning from BD to OV, or just general thoughts and perceptions.

    Thanks
