    has anyone use a clear protective film on rocker panel to help protect paint from rock chips. Wife doesn’t want fender flares on truck I have a 3 inch lift on truck

    20190916_190102.jpg I had it on my tacoma, it was factory installed. My truck was white and after about a year all of the edges were brown from dust getting under the edges, only way to get it off was to remove the film. But it did eliminate rock chips and my tires poked out from my fenders about an inch

    Edit: if you zoom in in front of the rear wheel you can clearly see the outline of the film. Sorry for the bad pic, it's the only one I could find
