I did test drive certified titan pro4x with everything except it was missing birds eye camera and ventilated seats. I did like it and if i don’t buy a tundra I’d get a titan. What made you sell your 2017

The only things i wish that my Pro had are:

    -Leather Steering Wheel
    -Auto down/up on all windows
    -Heated Seats

Other than that, she is about to turn 4 years old in a couple days and has almost 116k miles. I normally always keeps cars for 2 years at most but i havent gotten bored of this one yet :)

Going on my 2019 TRD for almost a year now. I love it. Did a lot of research before pulling the trigger on this. Yes, a few things like the steering wheel but i was driving a BMW 550 so I like the feel. But any regrets? NONE. I knew this is what I wanted when I looked for a truck. I was driving through KY before I bought mine and asked a guy about his Tundra, he has over 300K miles on it. Why did he go with a Tundra? His response was, I've had my truck for 10 yrs now and I've yet to see a Tundra on the side of the road in those hills. So TRD Pro being the top of the trim?..I went with it. Love the suspension. NO Regrets from this guy.

Reliability unfortunately. The truck was back at the dealer to fix issues more times than all of the other vehicles I owned, combined. The biggest issue was the transmission software that has since been corrected, but it took numerous trips to the dealer, calls to Nissan consumer affairs and finally me having to locate, print and provide the TSB to my local dealer before they figured out the right upgrade procedure. Between this, the other mechanical issues and the bumper-to-bumper warranty about to expire I did not want to start dumping money into repairs on a 2 year old truck. It's a shame because I liked the truck, enjoyed and and really wanted to keep it for many years.

I have owned nothing but Nissans for decades and they truly have dropped in quality in the recent years as I also have family that are having numerous problems with their Nissans.

Thats really a shame. My mom had a 1996 pathfinder that was tough as nails, rock solid reliable. Sad that they have gone down, ive always loved the frontier

Lots of folks on plenty of threads saying “the Pro doesn’t do anything any better than any other...” yada, yada, yada...
“Isn’t special off road...” yada, yada...
But it’s always from folks who don’t have one and usually have never ridden in one. I freely admit that I have never had any other Tundra and ridden in only a few other ones. Not perfect but pretty fine.

I thought titans had 5 year 100k bumper to bumper warranty. Dealer wants 34k out the door for a certified white pro4x with 16k miles. I’ve read some stories on titan for of engine knocking and dealers are replacing engines. What worries me about tundra is cam tower leaks.

I did drive a 19 trd pro and a 19 platinum today. I loved the pro and like the platinum but in the end dealer wanted to sell at invoice on trd pro which was around $48,500 and they went low on my Tacoma. I walked.

I'm 5 days from my 1 year purchase anniversary. Somewhere around 17k miles and no regrets...well, maybe my bank account has some regrets; not sure I fully grasped all the mods I would do and would want to do in the future when I was planning this purchase!

You are correct, it is a limited bumper to bumper warrant for 5/100K (Key being limited). Even for items that were or would be covered under the warranty, there is still the inconvenience of being without my truck for several days at a time on average. Towards the end I was a jerk and demanded a loaner truck but that was just something additional I had to argue with the dealer about.

The transmission is another area of concern. Nissan mostly resolved the issues with my 2017's shifting problems with software updates to the ECU and TCU (There is a TSB), however it still was not perfect. Part numbers for the trans and torque converter changed for the 2018 model year, which could indicate an update to the parts to resolve the issues that could not be resolved via software updates. Many are concerned about the longevity of the transmission.

Many bmw owners agree on this too. Every car has their issues, a slightly oil seep won’t hurt anything. My buddy has had his f150 platinum at the dealer for warranty stuff at least 10 times in 2 years

Had regrets because money up front was painful, but the higher resale value down the line kinda makes it work. Thought about just modifying a lower spec, but you really eat sh*t selling anything modded down the road (ask any ricer lol)...

No regrets about my 2019. Especially when I’m walking back to it from the store and I see that voodoo blue paint in all its glory. My only real complaint is I do wish all four windows were auto up/down.

No regrets with my Pro. It is exactly what I wanted right out of the box. When I wear out the Michelin’s I will get bigger tires and maybe a set of coachbuilder shackles. That’s pretty much the only upgrades I think the pro needs.

You may be able to build something “better” but out of the box it’s a great all around setup.

Not ever, not for a second. It chapped my ass a little bit when they put leather in the 16s and I hate the radio. but I knew what I was getting and would have been kicking myself for the last five years if I had bought anything but the PRO.

Like many, I had a modded Tacoma I sold before I bought the PRO. I always had some noise I was chasing, and was always chasing my next mod. I wanted a truck I didn't have to mod to get it close to how I want it to be that fit my growing family. I'm still almost bone stock too, with the exception of a remote start, running boards, and TRDRSB.

Almost a year and 8K miles on my 2019 Pro. Still love the truck. Still peak out in the garage just to stare at it. I didn't want to fool with mods, so it was the right choice for me. The only thing that bugs me is no power folding mirrors - that's it..
