I am curious, but it is non of my business , but I need to know if you have a loan with a bank for this vehicle?

Most lenders shy away from loaning money for rebuilt titled vehicles.

If you financed this thru the seller, then not disclosing the title condition is a huge no no.

Please be aware, all my vehicles are and have been salvage-rebuilt titled vehicles. I am aware of the ins and outs of purchasing these types of cars and trucks. Because of this information I have no fear of owning a salvage titled car.

I just want to make sure you are fully informed.

Based on the first post, it seems like the OP is fully aware of the rebuilt title and replacement front end.

How much are similar Sequoias selling for and what is the price difference you paid? This will give you an idea if the Tundra front had added any value. I did see a dealer sell a brand new Sequoia with the Tundra TRD Pro front end for like $75k which is $15k on top of a Sequoia. I can't see myself paying that much more for cosmetics but things should change when the 2020 Sequoia TRD Pro comes out.

Yes this is my 7th rebuilt title with this dealer. I have never had a problem with them. They do work directly with my personal credit union and are the largest dealer in the nation for branded title vehicles. I knew it was branded and had a new front end however I did not realize said front end was a Sequndra Mod. Which I am so glad that it is now that I put it together. It was fun driving it home from Home today. It sure gets the looks.

Also, this sequoia without the branded title and without the Mod tundra front end should have been around 43-45k so a savings of approx 7-10k off of retail. Which is the pattern I have had with all of my other vehicles Iv averaged about 8k off retail per vehicle buying branded titles. I completely stack the miles on my cars because I live in the boonies and destroy the value with miles anyway so for me it makes sense.

    Congrats. On the sequnndra!

    Salvage/ rebuilt title doesn’t matter past 10 yr old/150k - 200k+ mile vehicles.

You’ll have plenty of interest from sequoia fans if you ever chose to sell, the proportions look better. With the Tunny Pro Grille!

I bet a set of TRD Offroad wheels would look great on it. dirt cheap on craigslist. you would need new rubber as your current wheels are 20 inch vs 18

    love that truck

Does anyone know who makes these conversions? Curious if I’ll need a new core support to do it or does my 2009 support work fine? Any info where to look into these conversions are much appreciated, would love to do this.

Your asking in thread that died almost a year ago...

No one "makes these conversions" as a kit, if that is what you mean. It is something people do to their own vehicles, usually to ones that have sustained front end damage.

Use the search bar at the top right of the forum and try "sequoia tundra conversion" or "sequndra".

Also look for 2nd gen to 3rd gen conversions. That's pretty much all it is. It's mostly body panels and then headlights which is the most difficult due to electrical wiring.

Nothing wrong with bringing back this thread.

Toyota should do this with their Night Shade version of the Saquoia. The front end is soooo plain on the Saquoia. The Tundra front end would really grab some attention.

I have done several front end rebuilds on Toyota trucks.

I'm pretty sure that change would require a core support change.

An 09 is a second generation, and your picture shows a 3rd generation truck.
