    Hello everyone,
I recently purchased a 2005 sr5 double cab from a used car dealer. The day I went to pick the truck up from them they noticed that the master window switch was not putting down any of the other windows but works only with the driver window. All the other windows go down but only with their individual switches. They have had the truck for about a month and sent it out to numerous places including Toyota dealer for diagnosis. No one has figured it out. Any ideas on what and where the problem could be.The only details I know is that it had a remote start in it at one point and someone put in a after market head unit that had no idea what they were doing. Any help would be appreciated cause I may have to figure it out myself.

They told me they took a working one from another tundra and put it in and it didn’t work, no one said anything about buying a new one.

2004 here....had battery issue few years back and after that same window issue. Check youtube for master window reset. You simply turn key to on position, start at driver window, hold window button in down position for approx 4 seconds and then up for 4....do the same to all other windows from there respective window buttons. Worth a try !

Awesome! Thanks bubba I relayed the message to the owner of the dealership his guys at his shop have not tried that. We’ll see what happens. The owner there is trying to make this right for me which I respect and appreciate but I feel like I could have figured it out with in the month he has had it. I usually do all my own work on my vehicles just not very good at electrical so I’m letting him handle it. In the mean time he gave me and 07 to drive around so saves miles and wear and tear on mine.
