I'm looking for some suggestions on a rear plow light that mounts to the tow hitch and plugs into the Trailer plug so when the truck goes into reverse the light comes on. I see that they make quite a few universal mounts that clamp to the outside of the mount that you can put lights on
but on my 17 tundra the factory tow hitch does not give you much room for this type of mount. I would rather have one that goes inside the hitch so you can lock it and take it out when you are not plowing. Any suggestions on what other tundra owners are using would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure about the visual by the description. But I might have a silly idea ... or not. Get a cheap receiver ball mount at harbor freight. Flip it upside down into the receiver and mount or weld your light bracket on the bar opposite the ball. Lock it in or Take it out when you are done.
