I am not lifted and I am happy. I will get larger tires but still OEM sized.

That’s good to know I can move up to 33” tires on stock suspension. I lifted my 4Runner and it never rode the same again. I have the 20” wheels and I just don’t like the 55 series tires. I want some rubber between the wheel and the curbs and rocks. I like not having to worry about hitting things.

If your joking because it’s on the lift... clever! Lol. Otherwise this truck is how it came off the factory, non lifted suspension with 33” tires.

Upgrade suspension does not mean you have to do a lift

I remember when I said I want going to lift mine either. Lol now after toytec’s it rides better than stock. Much smoother handles Colorado canyons better and bed bounce was very much reduced. Pretty good benifit other than “looks” and the washboard dirt roads are insanely better to drive on after the lift. Nice thing about it is. Toytec’s give a ZERO to 3” or so. So you can upgrade the struts and shocks without lifting. Food for though brother. Semiper Fi.

No lift as well. But I wanted to put the most aggressive wheel and tire I could.

Had a F150 on 6” lift and 35’s prior to the Tundra and it was more of a hassle for me. AB13894E-9454-4CC7-9932-C4BA514757CE.jpg

What do you guys think about Nitto Ridge Grapplers XL (Extra Load), Size: 275/55R20’s? I have a 2020 Platinum and don’t want a lift, yet I do want better tires and shocks (recs for them appreciated too).

I do a fair amount of highway driving every other week to get my son, but only minimal driving around town otherwise as I only live a few miles from work. I do some off-road trail driving, but nothing extreme. I’ve added the dual TRD exhaust and rear sway bar. Would like to add a good skid plate. I had a Tundra Limited with TRD Off-Rd package a few years ago. Maybe I should have revisited another one for 2020. Yet, the Platinum leather seats with ventilation sure feel a lot better to me as I’m making those 8 hr round trip highway drives.

Thanks in advance for your input!

I said the same thing, that was July 25 when I bought. I’ve now added TRD cat back, hard tonneau, and TRD rear sway bar. And the list is growing more soon I hope. But used it’s less pricey!

I did my research and this is about the most aggressive you can get in stock height.
Minor rubbing on the small front mud flap when on full lock and reversing.

This is how much it sticks out.

So I should be fine going with a 20x9 +18 and running my 285/55r20's.

I have lifted pretty much everything (4wd) I owned. I am not going to lift this one. I like it just the way it is. I did put the Bakflip cover and some minor interior stuff. I did add my ham radio to the vehicle, but that is about it.

That looks absolutely awesome in my opinion. My truck will prob not see anything but highway and city driving, so I love the more aggressive look. What wheels and tires are you running? I'm new to the Tundra life, and quite surprised this fits. That's great news.
