So what you guys think abou my Toyota It's a 2000 Tundra SR5. It has 11" in front and 8 in the rear.

  1. I think it turned out nice but always room for improvement

It maybe you inhaled an amount of water sufficient to intermittently hydrolock one cylinder but not enough to entirely swamp the engine.

Hydrolocking beats up big end bearings and can bend connecting rods. That would explain your sudden oil pressure loss and the appearance of glitter in your oil.

He was on TS for years. He sold that one and bought a double cab, last I recall he left the double cab on 5100s and called it a day.

His access cab was solid axle up front with leafs initially but he converted to coilover before selling it. He had some crazy flex, still one of my favorite 1st gens ever.

So I have pulled the engine out of her and tore it down. Everything looks good other than the oil pump. So i figured when I over revved the 4.7 that it pumped all the oil to the top and had none in the pan to draw up so for few it got run dry. My Cam/Cam bearings look good and so does my crank and bearings. I'm going ahead and building it since I've got it down. Found some Wiseco pistons with H-beam rods. Having my heads worked down at HeadWorks of Nashville. I found a simple turbo set up that I'm buying for 1k$ and wont to beefin up the engine since I have it down.20180928_114246.jpg

Yah that's as far as the chevy made it. He overheated his tranny and burnt it up. I ended up pulling it about a mile out of the woods and trails so could trailer it back. Probably first and last time my truck hits a mud hole like that again. It sure was fun though
