Is the 2018 sport surround and hood bulge in Cav blue really almost $800 from Sparks?? Wow. That's without the grille insert.

Thanks for the pics looks pretty good! If you do go the colour match wrap route can you post the info on the vinyl? Haven't been able to find anything to match the cement.

Closest color is nardo grey but still not close enough.

First of all, forgive the lovebug guts and the dirt!! Pic is deceptive since my truck isn't clean; I promise all the white matches!

On my Limited, I had my surround and bulge color matched, and the grill painted satin black, for $300 at a local paint shop. He said he gets a LOT of Tundras requesting this, since people don't want to pay double or more for color matched surrounds and bulges from the dealerships, and like the fact that it won't affect your TSS (if applicable). You just gotta find a reputable paint shop that knows how to prep and paint over chrome "plated" plastic (sanding, adhesion promoter, special paint and clear coat that allows for flexing). The owner told me that if a paint shop knows what they're doing, the paint will last as long as the rest of the vehicle (although he admitted they use a LOT more base coats than normal).

^^^Thanks for the info! I'll shop around to find another shop that does small parts painting and see what they charge.

Most places sell the insert and surround together.. if not that’s a bogus price; They’re way too expensive anyways.

I’m about to Duplicolor mine. I can’t justify spending that amount of money on a grille/surround.
