Not many other key chain makers on here at least in the U.S I have a lazer cut key chain I bought a few months back replicating my truck . He was in Canada and it is pretty cool but is a little bulky for the pocket. A soft leather maybe just what we need. Here is a pic of the key chain I got.

Yea. That's so true. I'm just thinking this may just take off fast for the OP because as much as I love my key chain it's not to practical for me. lol

Yeah it's cool and like I said i'm no leathersmith. I just decided to try cutting leather with my laser and hoped for the best. I did a few other projects this week by hand and the laser certainly makes everything much more precise and uniform. But i'm no leathersmith.

Might be time to dig out my leather work tools from storage. I just googled Tandy leather and there is a store only 4 miles away! Crazy.....

You can be. Lazer seems to work pretty good though! Stitching is an art too. Expand your horizons!!

That's what i'm working towards ... unfortunately the guys who are "we'll do whatever you want just tell me what you want and i'll make it" don't do well since no one knows what they want until they see it. I could probably design 3 types of earrings and make a decent living off of Etsy but that's no fun.

I'm curious now if there might be some other members who might have dabbled in leather work.... this just might be the thread to bring them out!
