i am an eventually to be Tundra owner. I am hoping to get one toward the end of 2017 or early 2018 - just making sure I have my financials in order before taking on a significant payment. Which really means I want to save some cash for mods.

I am looking to get either a silver or white SR5 Crew Max. I'd like to build a truck with a bit of an overland style to it. I was talked out of getting a Tacoma and wait until I can get a Tundra. I used to write service for a Toyota dealer and the techs I still talk with recommended that.

I plan on getting Katzkins leather heated/cooled seats to start from the dealer or a local company that I have a relationship which.

I will probably buy these first and install right away:
    Toytec boss Suspension
    Method NV 18x9 Wheels
    295/65R18 duratracs

I will also probably get some tints right away.

    Also on the list:

    Weather tech floor liners
    Weather tech window guards
    TRD CAI
    Bed Rug
Fold or roll top cover for the bed
    Relentless front bumper

I'm sure the list will grow over the next year but I will make my changes pretty quick once I get the truck.

    Currently I drive a 2010 Corolla with:

    Tenzo R Cuzco Wheels
    Fujita Short Ram Intake
    TRD Lowering Springs
    TRD Front Strut Brace
    TRD Rear Sway Bars
    DDM Tuning HID Kit
    Yellow Fogs
    Debaged
    Paint Matched Toyota Emblems
    Blacked Out Tailights
    Tints

I'm looking to move to a truck for a couple reasons. I have picked up a woodworking hobby and sell some of my work so the constant hauling of wood in my car and the fact I can't deliver hold me back. The wife is not a fan of using her highlander like that. We are also looking to expand our camping horizons to some more rugged trips. We also have a family cabin in Northern Wisconsin that have some nice trails that need something more off-road capable than the highlander.

Looking forward to getting the truck and starting the build. To a quick year!

Another welcome from Oregon. No matter how complete you think your list of mods is, there's ALWAYS something else to mod.

This will be the first truck that I will own. However, I grew up working summers doing concrete work with my dad so I have drive Ford F-150, F250 TD, F350, and F5000. Plus I drove the hell out of tundras when I worked at the dealer. Anytime there was a mileage concern or needed to be driven for awhile I jumped on the chance!

Looking forward to sharing my build with you guys!

    welcome !
with toytec boss, you could probably go to 295/70/18
not much gains from TRD CAI, just add a drop in dry filter like AFE or just leave it stock imo

It is rediculously slow but 30-35 MPGs is nice. However gas hasn't been $5/gallon for awhile. I am hoping to sell it to family instead of trading it. Ill throw a post on here before I trade it in, in case someone is looking for a commuter.
