A few weeks ago my daughter shut the door and the small side of the handle just fell off. The door still worked and was waiting to take it in and then the other day, pulled open the door and the rest came off. It's on the shop now.

Oh, bummer. Hate it when the little things go wrong.

Its just one screw that holds that handle in place. It must have been missed or was loose. I wonder if its rattling around inside the door now or was just never put in. Very odd problem to have and not very Toyota like. Yeah Toyota has their issues but things like this seem to be very rare

I got it fixed today. They said whoever tightened the bolt inside jacked it up and eventually got loose enough and fell off.
