    Flux capacitor!
I ordered mine back in April. The color I ordered was a late release and it just got finished being built. Still hasn’t arrived yet.

Looked at them when a buddy bought his wrangler 4-door. It has a place and will no doubt sell a shit load of vehicles. It is off proportionally when you look close. It has the rear end of a 1/2 ton truck which was a nice touch. It is miserably under powered. What is strange to me is how seeing it in different colors makes it look better or worse. I will never own another American made anything. I have been let down too many times. Toyota has earned my truck business and until they fail to deliver dependability and resale, I will follow. Subaru has done the same for the wife's car. Would I like something different? Sure. Am I willing to go back to the big three? Never. If tundra would build a crewmax 6 1/2' bed? I'd be there tomorrow. Back to the gladiator... It will rust, the top will leak, and your check engine light will always be there for you. My buddy bought a '16 for WAY less than the new ones. He says he'll need that extra $20k to keep it running. That comes from a die hard jeep man's mouth.

They are nice but you paying to much extra on them. My buddy had I think 35 tires and it comes with a 2inch lift?? Maybe. Fix shocks all the way around, spay in bedliner and a cover over the bed. But it’s his money if he happy and loves to drive it I am happy for him. The price he said sure does seem like a lot he paid for it. Oh and I don’t know if every new vehicle has this but when you stop at a red light the truck will cut off. Then when you hit the gas it cranks back up. He had to take it back cause the override button was not cutting that feature off.

Here is mine. I’ve been driving it while the tundra is torn down for more prototyping. I really have enjoyed this truck.

63K? Damn. You could get a 2020 Tundra Pro and have 13K left over to throw in mutual funds (or guns, trailer, couple bikes, ATV, etc. lol)

Saw one on the lot when I went to get my Challenger serviced. 50K, stock with factory suspension and smallish tires. Doesn't look good without a lift and tires.

    Oh and it's a Jeep.

    And it was 50k.

Once all the people who've had "It's a Jeep thing, you wouldn't understand" bumper stickers on at least one vehicle in their fleet most of their lives trade up to it, I'm not really sure where you go from there. I'd rather be in a half ton with a limousine like back seat for those prices. IF you aren't really a hard core jeep fan you'll figure there's way better vehicles for that money.

40-45K fully loaded and obtainable for under 35K reasonably equipped would be a better price point. 30K bare bones. Maybe steal some sales away from the Ranger and Colorado.

The rear axle looks like it came off a ATV. I was behind one the other day and that was the thought that came to mind. I haven't done any scientific research on axle diameter or thickness just my opinion.

So it lists that it can carry more than my Tundra (base 4.6 2014 extended cab) which is rated at just over 1,500 pounds in its bed. The Gladiator from what I've briefly read can carry just over 1,600 in its bed if equipped. I find that hard to believe.

I'll never buy one but the outside skin looks coolish.....until the newness wears off.

I'll take my Tundra (listed for 32k back in 2014) over the Gladiator any day of the week and twice on Sunday.

My Tundra is: roomy, reliable, comfortable, 4x4 capable, high ground clearance, can tow a lot, can haul a lot, is built solidly and my Bassett hound loves it. I've only owned 1 Chrysler product in my life and that was enough for me.

I admit to considering a Gladiator, until I saw the price tags. I have a 2010 4 Door Rubicon with a manual transmission sitting in the garage that I love. I was thinking that maybe a Gladiator would be just enough truck and still enough Jeep that I could maybe not need the Tundra around.

Knowing that I could not be convinced to step down a trim level from the current Rubicon features that I like having on my Wrangler would put me in the +50k range really has kept me from even test driving a new one.

So, a dual brand setup I have. Jeep and Tundra!

Oh, and for what its worth, my Wrangler has been trouble free since day one, now 110 miles.. I wonder if it is because I have kept it away from the paws inside the dealer service bays and have done all of the maintenance myself?

GladHeAteHer? I actually like it. Other half wants a 4d Rubicon. Trying to convince her to get a Glad instead. She doesn't see the need for another truck and doesn't want the extra length though. She'd like something small because she wants to go froadin' with and wants to drive something smaller than the Tundra.

I’ve always had Jeeps and Toyotas. Jeep dropped the ball when they quit using the inline six. I still have my 97 Cherokee with 240k on it. Gladiator with an inline six option would be sweet.

The axles are not D44's exactly, significantly stronger in several ways and so far are handling 40's really well. If I was buying it'd be a Rubicon because I wheel and that gets me what I need without throwing a bunch more money at it right away. They ride really nice but all the coil sprung Jeeps do and if you put 37's on them they don't look so funky.
Not really apples to apples but for that kind of money you're into a Ford Raptor
