Cheers to the long bed part. Idk if anyone here does but I can tell you that the original owner of my 08 long bed did. The hitch was in the bed when I bought it and the rails are still there . I already had a bumper pull camper so I didnt look into it to much

Check out the towing section. Lots of good information on this topic.

Short answer, for most 5th wheel campers, the pin weight is over the capacity of the Tundra. Some camper manufacturers make light weight 5th wheels.....

Thank you for the info. We found out that indesign has a 150 series 5th wheel that starting weight is 7000 very light for a 5th wheel. Still researching.

This has always been my question how much weight can we put in the bed or how much pin weight will it take.

Pulling is typically not the issue, it is how much (or little) the truck has for payload (I.e. when you hook up the trailer, the weight that is now resting on the truck). This is usually 1,100 to 1,400lbs depending on your trucks configuration. Available payload for a trailer will decrease when/if you add passengers, mods, supplies and/or other gear in the bed.

The other thing to consider is that the amount of weight in the bed will increase when the wind pushes the front of the 5er down while going down the road.
